Wrong side driving continues blatantly...i shot this video this very afternoon on the JVLR-Kanjurmarg junction..have been sharing such videos with @MTPHereToHelp but nothing changes unfortunately..we need firmer enforcement..
One of the worst offenders are auto rickshaws driving wrong side between RTO junction on Link Road Andheri(W) and DN Nagar Metro station. These offenders are in hundreds each day. @MumbaiPolice @MTPHereToHelp @AndheriLOCA @DNNagarPS
There is still more aggressive drive required in the interior roads and the by lanes against the wrong side driving. It has been observed regular wrong side driving at the on going coastal road project work in Sector 8 Charkop. @MTPHereToHelp
With due respect, this is the video I posted on X and YouTube and got the Bengaluru Traffic Police to take action against the culprit. This did not even happen in Mumbai as you claim.
I can help upload a video every day. Of atleat 30-35 ppl driving on wrong side , bikes , auto , doing violations but if they will be fined then the effort is worth @MTPHereToHelp @MumbaiPolice
Please come to shilphata and kalyan shil road. You can catch 8000 in a day.
What crackdown? This seems like just a media publicity stunt. Come to LBS Road, Kurla West. You'll see more vehicles driving on wrong side than on correct side. And not just two wheelers. @MTPHereToHelp

Kindly come to DN metro staion , there u will find 2 to 4 RTO standing and behind them with there permission 100s if Share Rickshaw drive dangerous on wrong side . All hog wash and show for PR .
Except Mizoram & Nagaland None of the 28 Indian States & 8 UT's Obey Traffic Rules or have civic sense for driving. Jumping red lights- No Q sense & many more. Such drive is desperately required in Delhi NCR @dtptraffic

If so many are caught the numbers should show a decline Except when hafta rules or the fine does not hurt Linking Rd/ Turner Rd Jn 2 wheelers obeyed law to stop behind the PED.Crossing, because the fines were substantial & licences were confiscated. Enforcement is the key.
Finally looks like 1 good officer in @MumbaiPolice has the spine to control this ever increasing menace of wrong side driving since over a decade!! @CPMumbaiPolice we need more officers like satyanarayan Choudhary to clean up the mess created by lazy constables @Dev_Fadnavis this is really a commendable action.
Fantastic drive, @MTPHereToHelp. Pls conduct the same in a strict manner in Versova, all along JP Road, Yari Road and all the narrow inside lanes in the proximity of the Versova Gauthan, Panch Marg etc. Pls add triple seat driving to the list.
People who drive wrong side their licence should be cancel Should be debarred from any government scheme and job permanently We need strict traffic laws
@blrcitytraffic learn something from this. In bangalore your staff only catch helmet offenders to take money, whereas signal jumpers, opp side driving are not caught. Do like this DAILY across all wards and see the difference in one month

Way to go A good beginning is half the job done, well we have miles to go to monitor each lane and by lane but atleast this should send a clear message Wrong side driving will not be allowed in this city, go absolutely full steam ahead on this one please

Great show. Do something for everyday same vehicles parked on road for about 20 hours on road. Benefit of road width increase to reduce traffic congestion is lost. These are contract buses, lorries, school buses which should be parked inside school, offices and depots.
The wrong side people are just oversmart and making the jam when the one lane is stopped this creature thinks hmm one lane is stopped other one is open for cars and bike to go this way I just go from there and I would be free and rules don't apply to me
Sir pl put camera held personnel on guard without arguing on Magan Nathuram Road& Kale Marg for only taking pictures of #wrongsidedrive as it's become a signal junction as a result of #wrongsidedriving police personnel are short staffed so no action taken daily count of #lacs
Please implement this in Thane City also. Desperately needed. Particularly near Majiwada junction. Accidents are waiting to happen

When is this going to start here in Pune? At least on one occasion had a narrow shave. This is one thing that regularly puts the life of thousands of citizens in danger. Seems there is NO fear among ppl, wrong side driving has been kind of normalised @CPPuneCity

Why is not done all over the country ? The laws on the road is a joke on high ways and cities. 2 wheelers can go any where and 4 wheelers are only accountable for traffic rules? Road transport ministry is only focused on converting petrol to E 20,80,100 and not for road quality.
Can this officer speak with @dtptraffic @DelhiPolice @CPDelhi for solution in Delhi. They can coordinate for Save Roads. Cross training or sessions.

Long overdue. In Mumbai, wrong-side riding is treated like a “jugaad”, not a crime — especially by delivery riders racing for 2 extra minutes. Those 2 minutes have already put kids, pedestrians and legal drivers in hospital. Good that enforcement + FIRs + seizures are happening. Next step: hold the apps accountable too. If their riders keep doing this, the company should share the penalty. Shortcut nahi, suicide note hai yeh.
@save_our_mumbai They have woken up again now. The previous commissioner was brutal against this and posted daily stats across police stations. There was fear.
Yes, specially in Pune. Wrong side driving is rampant, not just two wheelers but taxis, tankers and big vehicles blocking the roads. Even in school zones, come to wagholi /Nagar road if you want to experience.
We need atleast 100 Satyanarayan Choudhary's to tackle this menace..and this has to be consistent...F.I.R to be registered against these offenders
