@BjCruickshank All he tells us here is what England would lose from Scotland. So obviously we gain nothing from England which is why they so desperately want us to stay. Best case for independence I’ve heard in a while

@BjCruickshank It's appalling that a Scottish MSP uses 'we' to describe the rest of the UK, that Scotland will be independent from, rather than his own country Scotland.

More to the point, why wouldn't we want to control these wonderful resources ourselves and reap the rewards of our country. Why would we think giving them away to Westminster was a good idea.

Murdo expressed that prior to today’s u-turn by the the Scottish Prison Service the shocking initial indication from them was that they would not be complying with the law and continuing to allow male bodied prisoners in the female estate. He then asked the First Minister how much tax payer money was spent “defending the indefensible” and asked if Mr Swinney would now meet with For Women Scotland to hear their concerns on behalf of vulnerable women. Predictably, the First Minister said the case had been “complicated” and failed to answer either question.
