Someone commented “mid” on my video, and I never engage with those, but I did one time and asked what he actually thought about the album. He said “I don’t actually think it’s mid, it’s actually pretty decent”. It’s like base lingo to describe everything, which is terrible.

Disagree on the skips. Every song isn’t for every mood or situation. Some songs are heavier emotionally, so that may also lead to a skip.10/10 is not a real metric. Everything is to individual taste. Great video overall.

The reason I put “10/10 in quotes in my video is because I believe in numerical ratings at all, it’s just what I hear people say frequently. I personally don’t put on an album with the intention of not playing it all the way through (or worse, on shuffle)

Being able to summarise your feelings on 50+ mins of work in one word is terrible. Doesn’t mean your reasons have to be verbose either but at least engage with what you consumed.

Also yes replay value is silly it's like saying a movie isn't good because you only watched it once, no other art form that I can think of has that kinda discussion

The whole "rapper and artists " shit is so annoying Rapping is an art , rappers are artists Because one artists does multiple genres doesn't make them a better artists(except if they do it verrrry well, which is quite difficult)

Music covers dictating you being interested says a lot. I really don’t care what the album cover is : I.e. Vince staples dark times, pitch black album cover with a noose on it deep in the background. But Dark Times & Vince Staples convinced me , not the cover

Dark Time was actually the cover I had in mind when I said that take. It took me months to listen to that album because the cover was doing absolutely nothing for me.

REAL REAL REAL REAL. I only understand the rapper/artist take if someone said something like "Tyler is a better artist than Smino because he raps and produces all his own stuff & Smino only raps but he's a better rapper" not how I feel but just an example of where I'd understand
