When we went to the hotel, they behaved very rudely and did not assist us properly. During the night, we were celebrating a birthday. The staff came the first time and asked us to lower the sound, and we agreed immediately. We told them we would just cut the cake and finish. But they came a second time and spoke disrespectfully to us. When we tried to speak in Tamil, they said they didn’t understand. When we spoke in English, they replied only in Hindi. We explained that we know only Tamil and English. At that point, one staff member asked us whether we were from India or Pakistan. When we said we were from Tamil Nadu, they insulted us again saying that if we didn’t know Hindi, we must be from Pakistan. This was extremely offensive and hurtful. For all four days of our stay, we were treated with disrespect. During checkout, they accused us of breaking the TV and demanded Rs. 10,000. But when we showed them the video we recorded while leaving the room, they immediately became silent because nothing was damaged. Finally, my iPhone 13 went missing. The room key was with the staff, so we have already raised a complaint regarding this issue as well. We are extremely disappointed by the way we were treated. This experience has caused us a lot of stress and spoiled our entire trip. We request strict action against the staff involved and expect appropriate compensation for the harassment, false accusations, and the loss of my mobile phone also #coimbatore #tamilnadu #goa

My cousins and my brother and I were exploring Coney Island, we saw the sights, hung out at the arcades and before we went back to the apartment we decided to go and get something to eat, we had some money on us but not much so we decided to see what we could get at one of the vendors. This was back in the early 90’s when most of them had dollar slices of pizza wherever we went. So we got 4 pieces of pizza, should have been $4 because that’s the price we were used to. The guy wanted to charge us $24 at $6 a slice. We argues with him because one of my cousins already took a bite being so hungry. But at the least we owed $4. We gave the other slices back and refused them but had to pay for the partially eaten one, it was embarrassing that an adult would try that on a bunch of kids. We told our uncle what happened and he went back and yelled at the vendor. He was familiar with them because he used to get slices all the time from the same guy and he never charged my uncle that price. I couldn’t imagine paying that exurban amount, like this guy who was being charged $54 for a hotdog by one of the vendors. At first he thought it was a typo and it was $5.40 but the vendor. Learned it up when he said no it was $54. Would you have paid that amount? I would have walked away, clearly he was trying to possibly scam a the man for looking like a tourist. Part of the experience when visiting a new area is the street food but it’s becoming more and more a chore avoiding places like this.

Cam Johnson says goodbye to the Nets: "I love the people in that building... I enjoyed it because of that, and I had faith in what we were building because of that. I really think Jordi's a fantastic coach. Playing that one season under him, personnel constantly shifting, we had trades, we had injuries, he always maintained such a good approach to the team, and he was always able to motivate us to play hard. Our record wasn't great, but I think throughout the season we consistently gave effort. And I credit our coaching staff a lot for that. Two years there, playoffs when we first got there. Obviously, we wish we could've been better. And I was willing to do everything in my power to get us back on a winning track. And I think they’ll get there eventually. I have faith in those guys in that building. I’ll miss them, and I appreciate them. I appreciate everything they did for myself and my career. DISCRIMINATION AGAINST US AS IRISH CHRISTIANS AT CROKE PARK MUSLIM EVENT? Umar Al Qadri insists we weren't asked to leave the Croke Park Islamic Eid event BECAUSE we weren't Muslim. He was responding to our assertion that the event was not as open and welcoming to all as he was making out. We doubled down and insisted we were discriminated against. We also informed him (after accusations of being seen as a hostile presence) that we were highly respectful at all times, despite harassment. What do you think? Were we asked to leave due to not being adherent to Islam? Moreover, were we at any time anything other than calm, polite and very respectful? Or did we allow ourselves to be goaded into a confrontation in which we would be likely made out to be "far right" aggressors? And would there have been uproar if we as white Irish Christians had told Muslims to leave an event they attended legitimately? This incident is not the only time we were asked we approached, surrounded and followed several times (in other instances a number of Irish staff and security were involved and were "following orders"). We were repeatedly hassled, questioned and told to leave. We had to show our tickets (which we bought online) 6 times. Gardaí were also called. At no point did we allow ourselves to be antagonised, and at no point were we aggressive. We were the opposite...however we have a feeling we will still be made out to have acted incorrectly. Me and my mates caused this: We turned up at their wedding uninvited and started fighting with the guests and they had the cheek to tell us to leave because we were ruining their wedding when it was only a few of us and not everyone. Then they tried to lock the doors. But we held them open while more came in. We didn’t like the music either so we made the DJ to swerve the Motown and play some techno to suit us. It was an all inclusive bar and a free buffet so we stayed to the end even though we didn’t like it there. I just wanted to call the family out and tell you all how intolerant they were to us. I’ve never been made to feel so unwelcome. We had just as much of a right to be there as anyone else. It was a public building. They don’t own it. I’m sure you will all agree that the family were bang out of order. We only ruined their wedding the crying cnts. Horrible people.

I wanna know, because ut came back on us, that we had some kind of a Trap Door and we had a guy hiding in there.” He says there was no trap door and Tunnel system. 🔻My Thought’s: He’s technically correct, but he should have clarified. This just makes him look like he’s lying, but I THINK he just means there were no secret access door and a long tunnel system. There clearly were utility or maintenance access doors to a pump room or crawlspace commonly used in sidewalks or buildings to provide workers access to electrical, plumbing, or other infrastructure. This is my line of work, so I know what they look like.

A man is complaining that Wetherspoons told him he couldn’t use the women’s toilets after two women informed staff they were uncomfortable with him being in there. Apparently, women are expected to be perfectly comfortable with a man being in, and taking photos in, the ladies’ toilets. Not a word about the women who no longer felt safe or comfortable because he was there. Plenty, though, about his own “safety” and “comfort” if he had to use the men’s. Well done, Wetherspoons.
