An 80-year-old getting across town without a kid taking a half day off work is the family version of this tech. That’s doctor visits, church, and groceries that don’t require rearranging somebody else’s shift. If the ride is calm enough that dad trusts it, the adult children get a piece of their weekend back. That’s the lifestyle piece — not the car, the hours you don’t have to give up.

@robotaxi Love this. The “80 year old dad just rode a Cybercab” bar is underrated. Once parents are comfortable, mass adoption gets a lot less theoretical. How’d he describe the ride vs a normal Uber?
