I pray for you and for this bill to be passed every day ❤️

I will forever be grateful if this bill is passed into law. Right to self defence is fundamental human right. Even kidnappers will fear for the own lives because they will be met with fire 🔥 🔥 🔥 ON THIS ISSUE, I SUPPORT YOU SENATOR.

This is just an opportunity for the politicians and the high ranked people in the society to threaten and oppress the citizens more. If you can protect yourself, why can’t others do? It’s a no benefit for the common man. I think the laws you all are making is for you people alone

Dear Senator. Thank you for spearheading this bill and I hope it is passed but the requirements are onerous and seem designed only for the affluent. One doctor should be enough. NIN is more than adequate for identification. Going around to all these people amount to a rigmarole.

Having more guns can never be a solution. Potential draw backs with this, bribe your way to get endorsement from traditional and local govt chairmen, bribe shooting schools to get approval, retired army will use it as a cash cow, genuine people won’t get approval without bribes

This is already sounding elitist, why must a local government and a king?

This is a big offense. Nigeria is not stable to own a Gun

Sir u might think that this is right but u are creating a big problem for us. Check USA and see how they are using gun against themselves

It's funny that you all don't want state police but you want a bill whereby private citizen can carry gun. Issokay..

The procedures are so complex, the law is dead on arrival. Any of the approving authorities could stall it for selfish, malicious or corrupt reasons. Unless it is mandatory at the risk of punishment to approve once a person shows evidence of qualification, it's a waste of time.
