My brother has a non-traditional golf swing, but he just makes it work. Today he hit multiple 270+ yard drives. Had 3-4 solid birdie putts but made zero of them. I beat him pretty good, yet suffered from some serious hooks and duck hooks. Couldn’t break 80 today:(

Just had the round of my life (this is Year 4 of golf for me) at Watchung Valley. BEAUTIFUL course. S/o to my boy Scott for the invite. Shot a 42-38. Had this birdie putt on 18 to break 80. As you can tell by that god awful putting stroke in the video, my putting is killing my scores But never struck the ball like that before. Irons and wedges just leaving the club and going exactly where I wanted them to. 7 pars in a row at one point. Such a funny sport though because my brain is less replaying the 9 pars/1 birdie I’m replaying my three putts on holes 2, 3 and 8 🤣 It’s never enough — is it? Anyway, I’m totally screwed now for gambling/match play with my poker crew because of some exception score quirk in the GHIN system that just dropped me from a 15.4 to a 13.5 in one round 😂

My son won the Cousin’s Persimmon Club challenge at Rockford CC at dusk and the cash prize of $100. I mocked Jackson for opting for a 9 iron on the first tee shot (playing 370 yards). He hit 9 iron, 9 iron, wedge to 3 feet and a putt for par. Some pretty good golf considering he just started playing again and he had never played persimmons and blades.

‘29 Luca Briggs (Cosby) First time seeing the freshman yesterday. Didn’t get to see it in game, but what I saw before the game left me feeling pretty good about the present & future. Some of the better BP I saw, swing works, has a chance to defend in the IF, listed 6’2” w/ long limbs. Was up to 87 earlier this week. Just updated 2029 ranks and had not seen him, but he will be moving into those today, deservedly so. Prep Baseball Virginia/DC l Shooter Hunt l Jordan Jones #BeSeen

My heart is in pieces. I lost my best boy yesterday. He was 13 but it still felt sudden. I know a lot of you know Homer as he was often in the background of my pics. He was the sweetest, funniest and most loving little guy, and I feel very grateful to have had spent such a good amount of time with him. Yesterday Homer had a massive seizure. I rushed him to the vet immediately and they tried for several hours but we just couldn’t save him. I know it was his time. And I know I did everything I could. But it still doesn’t take away the heartache. I will miss him so much. They are with us for such a short time but have such a huge impact on our lives. Rip my little guy

WELL I was assaulted by a schizo homeless guy today in Toronto. I was walking to the grocery store when he started stalking me. I tried to get away from him but it didn’t work. He grabbed me, pinned me against a fence, and then tried to break my hand to steal my phone. Three people passing by helped save me. The police were quick and kind, but the officer I spoke with told me this guy had been arrested for attacking people repeatedly in the past month, and “fair warning, a judge will probably let him out by tomorrow morning.” 🫠 lovely system we got goin on here folks

3. Dax Hill had multiple pass break-ups today. He says the team’s much-improved pass rush is helping the secondary. “We definitely love that,” said Hill. “It makes it a lot easier for us. You know that the quarterback only has a certain amount of time to get the ball out. So I feel like they’ve been doing a great job so far of applying pressure and making life easier for us.”

Just watched this video of us walking today and it’s had me in tears. I’m not embarrassed to say it either, he may just be a dog to some people but he’s my best friend and my world. He has comforted me through my darkest days, licked tears away, snuggled me when I’m down, sat with me quietly when I’m quiet but loved me regardless and he’s genuinely absolutely everything to me. I can’t even describe the love I have for him, it’s just impossible to try and explain it. Wallahi, I met a genuinely honest man today around Kabuga Junction, Kano. He was hawking these toy cars when I stopped to buy one. He told me it was ₦2,500, but I negotiated it down to ₦2,000, and he agreed. By mistake, I gave him ₦3,000 instead of ₦2,000. I didn’t even realize it at the time. My wife noticed after we had already moved on, and I told her to leave it. But the man himself later realized that I had overpaid him, and he actually rushed back to meet us just to tell me. I told him, “No problem, keep it. It’s yours.” But honestly, the fact that he came back even when he could have easily kept the money really touched me. It may be just ₦1,000, but honesty like this deserves to be appreciated. If you see him hawking these toys around Kabuga Junction, along the road towards Rijiyar Zaki/Kofar Fompo, please support him. Insha Allah, I’ll go back and find him to appreciate him properly. Honesty deserves to be rewarded. ❤️🤲🏽

There has always been some amount of elite hypocrisy. Still, I prefer what I call the “John F. Kennedy model of hypocrisy” to what we have now. JFK was a flawed man, but the image he presented to the American public was that he was a good husband, a good father. In his private life, though, he was a philanderer and often an absentee father and had other shortcomings. But he thought it was important to set an example for the people. And now we have the opposite. Today, our elites get married, they have kids, and for the most part, they live a very stable, conventional life. But if you ask them their opinions and attitudes around sex, family, around marriage, around law abidingness, hard work, punctuality, integrity, honesty, and so on, they take a very relaxed attitude. "Non-practicing libertines," as the Yale Law School professor Daniel Markovits calls them. Elites used to pay lip service to conventional values but privately strayed. Now, they publicly support straying, but privately behave in a more conventional way.

To the army, that are mad right now that he missed Jimin on the MU intro. Yes he missed it. But during the acoustic set on C-Stage he immediately corrected it and mentioned him. I don't have a video of the Jimin part but I have an audio of it from my other phone. First part of the video, I just overlayed it with a friend's video from c-stage. Mid part of my video was my recording when he started mentioning BTS. Some might call this cap, but I don't care. I'm not gaining anything from posting this but I know I have proof of it. Ask anyone you know who attended the concert and they all heard it for sure. I understand you're just basing everything from the My Universe clip you saw but hopefully this will correct all the anger you're feeling right now for Chris missing your bias. They managed to correct it already during the show. That's all I have to say about this issue. Band loves BTS. Let's not hate on them. 💜 #ColdplaySeoul

Jack is 20 years old with no signs of slowing down. He now has a problematic ankle that we are sparing no expense on keeping him comfortable on. Not for our use but because he does not handle life at the farm well. He is happiest with a purpose and just being around the barn. I have had him in my life since he was a yearling and owned him since he was 3. It is not a thought I want to have that he is getting up there in age.

Back at my mom’s house I was sitting in the living room playing video games in my my underwear, I was around 12 years old and ever body was working until about 5pm so I still had a few hours before anybody was there. I usually kept the doors locked but the front door wasn’t locked, I just didn’t know that yet. I walked into the kitchen to grab a snack and a drink. I didn’t know that a family of three people just walked into the house. I came back holding a bag of chips and a drink and I saw two people standing there and another one just sitting on the couch like they were supposed to be there. My 12 year old brain couldn’t comprehend what was happening and I ran out of the house and to the neighbors house. I finally calmed down and told her what was happening, she grabbed her husband and went over there, I’m surprised they didn’t call the police first. The people in the house told the neighbor that they were friends of my dad and they were visiting from Pittsburgh. My neighbor called my dad at the restaurant and confirmed he knew them. He ended up leaving the restaurant and coming back early. His friends confused what days he was off from work and decided to come by and visit unannounced. He also told them it wasn’t a good idea to just walk in and that even though they were friends they should always knock on the door. I had never met these people before so I thought it was some kind of home invasion, it scared me. But from that point on I always made sure the doors were locked and that I was dressed decently just in case of unexpected visitors.
