🇬🇧 A British Tribute to My American Friends 🇺🇸 Today, the winds of history change course. President Trump returns, not as a distant hope, but as the 47th President of the United States—a symbol of resilience, strength, and the enduring will of the American people. As a proud Brit, I’ve walked among your cities, met your patriots, and felt the unbreakable spirit that unites you. In your flags flying high, in your voices rising for freedom, I’ve seen a nation determined to reclaim its greatness. This day is more than an inauguration—it’s a rallying cry for liberty, a bold step into a future defined by courage and unity. Let us remember: the fight for freedom is universal, and your triumph today is a light for the world. Together, we stand as brothers and sisters, bonded by our shared hope for a brighter tomorrow. Congratulations, America. The best days are ahead, and the world is watching.

𝗔 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 This is not a performance. It’s a position. I didn’t step into the arena for spectacle or self-promotion. I stepped in because I believe our society can and must do better, and that belief demands action, not comfort. As Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels argued, history is shaped by struggle. You don’t have to agree with them to see the pattern: progress has never come from neutrality. This path has a cost. It always does. But the alternative complacency dressed up as patience is far more expensive. I’m not claiming to have all the answers. I’m one voice among many pushing back, asking harder questions, and refusing to accept “that’s just how things are” as a final answer. You don’t have to agree with me. But indifference is a choice too and it shapes the future just as much as action does. So don’t just watch. Think and question. Engage. Full clip> Credit: Engage Talk (2018)

This is what it looks like when women step into the arena. This isn’t a space to feel intimidated by it’s a space we step into, take ownership of, and elevate. Women on the bars. Real work. Real competition. Respect to Amari she showed up and brought it.

NRA is on Capitol Hill today to support Rep. Richard Hudson's Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act as it’s being considered by the House Judiciary Committee. Our right to self defense does not and should not end at a state line!

Paradoxes loom. But the moment we decide that a new generation does not have within it the ability to shape the world it lives in — to shape the future — that is the true enemy of open society. So let us not be apathetic. The future is still yours to shape. Congrats, class of 2026!

Today we honored the names etched into the Vietnam Veterans Memorial through the humble act of washing the wall. It’s our way of saying welcome home and remembering their sacrifice. It’s also a reminder to those in the future, that if you don’t step up as well, this freedom we have, is not there.

A slow descent into the world of LSPD SWAT. The nature of the job might not be very forgiving, but the call to action is not a call everyone can ignore.
