My camera was shooting still images at 30 frames per second, so I put them all together into a video of the snowy owl's flight. I used Final Cut Pro to slow the video to 25% using machine learning analysis to smooth the movement. It actually came out pretty well.

I used AI to create this transformation video, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The entire workflow required 11 keyframe images and 7 short video clips. The hardest part was the clothing transition. Current AI models still leave noticeable artifacts during the dressing process, so I had to trim and hide many of those frames in editing. After several iterations, this version finally feels smooth and believable. Full workflow + prompts:

The commies who put together the migrant protest today at the Aurora apartment complex told me i was "putting people at risk" by talking to them as a "right-wing reporter" My reporting today involved pointing a camera, shooting video and explaining what I saw on the ground at the complex. I even put my own health at risk reporting the inside of what these migrant apartments look like and they still complain! Sad!

I created a 3D Gaussian Splat of my kitchen using 1/3rd the images it used to take me by using NVIDIA AI Developer's 3DGRUT! I can now use 180 degree fisheye images and ray tracing to make detailed splats. The only reason the scene isn't sharper is because my input images weren't super sharp - when I took the images back in October, I was still learning to use the lens. I plan to make a "first reactions/overview video". Tutorial after that. For reference, this took 206 images and the ultrawide on my iPhone took 608 images to capture. #3D #AEC #Computervision

Alright, I think this is my final post from this #sturgeonmoon2023 in #Seattle. I put together all my timelapses into one video. Shooting a timelapse of a moon rise/set is always a bit nerve-wracking as you are committed to your tripod position once you start the shooting. So you just have to trust your calculations that it would align. I am glad it did all three times.

Alright, I think this is my final post from this #sturgeonmoon2023 in #Seattle. I put together all my timelapses into one video. Would you want to watch more?? I made a fully AI-generated podcast about AI using AI hosts 🤓 I find it surprisingly entertaining! Here's how I made it: 1. Generate the audio. I used Google AI's Notebook LM, uploaded the OpenAI o1 research paper, and then pressed a button. 2. Generate the images. I used Midjourney to generate images for the two podcast hosts. Nothing fancy here: "a [female/male] podcast host, looking at the camera". 3. Generate the video. I brought the images to life using Infinity AI (now Lemon Slice 🍋). I had to cut up the audio into separate speakers. 4. Add graphics. I added B-roll and graphics in CapCut. This was human labor, aka me, but I could have used AI tools to do it instead.

For anyone wondering why I was posting those images last night, they were part of the set used to create this timelapse. This was rendered at 25 frames per second, from images taken every 13 seconds from roughly 10pm to roughly 2:30am. After tonight's run, I'm going to increase how often images are taken to get a 60 fps timelapse. Tonight it's running from 4pm to whenever I get to it tomorrow at the same settings as this, except in 1920x1080 resolution. Enjoy.

The atmosphere is more dense the closer you get to earth. Changes in the density of the atmosphere change the refractive index and thus make the comet tail appear bent. I was in my crew quarters reviewing the imagery when I first saw the bend in the comet’s tail. I did not see it real time when taking the images. I yelled out the door to Don Pettit to check it out but he was already off to take more images of the comet with an IR camera . . . look forward to those. Images were taken with a 1/8 sec exposure with about 5ms in between shots so this timelapse should be about the same speed as we see it out the window. Canadarm2 is in the near field, upper left, and out of focus. 200mm, 1/8s, ISO 5000$

BUZZ 🐝 A short sequence created using Nano Banana Pro and Grok imagine. I wanted to test Groks capabilities for action in motion. With Buzz leading the way, Tiny Timmy is having the absolute time of his life exploring the wondrous Flower Kingdom🌼 Tools for creation: - Nano Banana Pro was used to generate the base image and the additional camera angles. I wanted to personally see if I could just use 3 images so no 2x2 grid extraction technique for this but I did want to include each frame used so you can see how the sequence was combined. Grok Imagine was used for every sequence to bring it to life using image to video. - I did some post work in Capcut by adding some subtle bloom, radial motion blur and film grain as well. - I added additional sound effects by generating them using Elevenlabs and layering them (bee buzzing, flapping wings, wind and leaves rustling etc). The kids laughter was generated using Grok. The soundtrack was sourced from Artlist. It was fun testing this and putting it together just to see what Grok is capable of generating.
