The Annan Plan was rejected by Greek Cypriots despite Turkish Cypriots saying ''Yes.'' A united Cyprus requires initative from the Greek Cypriots. Without Turkey in the EU, peace seems unlikely, and Erdoğan makes EU membership harder. COMPLICATED

Maybe you should accept the independence declaration and accept the loss of territory instead in the interest of peace? Or does that just apply to Ukraine?

Maybe Greek side should have voted Yes in the referendum on the UN Plan many years ago
