My first ever Cybercab ride!

The future of transportation is here. Just not evenly distributed yet. Not at my house in San Jose, capital of Silicon Valley. But then Waymo doesn’t get to my house yet either. There are 348 cities in USA that have more than 100,000 residents. When will half have CyberCab? Next year is possible but not probable. So 2028. But the second half will go faster than the first. So 2030 to get all of them, if regulation allows. Big if. When will Silicon Valley get it? I would bet that it will take six to 12 months from now. If regulation allows. But all this doesn’t matter to Tesla investors. In five years most of the profits for Tesla will be from Optimus. But how will one get to your house or business? This. And this is what will make sharing a robot with your neighbors possible. Dramatically reducing the price of having a robot helping you do laundry. Be warned. If you get three rides you will dramatically change as a consumer. Once you trust your life to AI, like you are here, you will want AI everywhere.

Referring to broadcasting and the fan-fair that came with the 10/10 event…. Hell , Elon was at the 10/10… no shade on Ashok and the team. Yes… in terms of actual rollout, it’s great… but I feel that most of the world still doesn’t know that the Cybercab even exists.

Wait, wait wait. How does it log his YouTube and other apps and automatically in the cyber cab but it doesn’t do it in my model Y?

This is SO cool and from the street!

The first public rides are where Cybercab stops being a concept and starts becoming a real transport product. With no steering wheel or pedals, every passenger trip in Austin is effectively a live demonstration of whether fully driverless mobility can feel normal.

There should be some sort of voice welcoming, and that would help people understand what to do on things like "Please press Start Ride to start your ride" don't you think?
