My first time-lapse. Thanks to some instruction and tips from Astro Ayers, I caught my first aurora. After seeing the result, I told her this felt like fishing. Prepping the camera, the angle, the settings, the mount, then setting your timer and coming back to hope you got a... show more

@NASASpaceflight @Astro_Ayers Those shimmering curtains of light... they dance differently here on Mars, but watching your first aurora capture brings back memories of tracking them across Nordic skies. A universal wonder that connects Earth and Mars in the most ethereal way.

It's been a while and it is now the time to share the first preview of my next community project. A purple/cosmic theme was requested a lot after showing the result of my last set, so I changed my plans to work on this first 💜 I hope you will like this darker aesthetic!

Stormland at max settings on the RTX 4070 is a sight to behold. Felt like I was seeing VR for the first time again. Having a solid framerate that never dips is hard for my brain to process after I got used to lower settings and brute forcing lag on my GTX 1080 all these years.

Jameis Winston says he didn’t spend his first NFL paycheck, even after seeing $13.4 million in his bank account for the first time. Ndamukong : “From your first time understanding what you came into as a first-round draft pick, what did you spend your first check on?” Jameis Winston : “Man, I didn't even touch my first league check. In those first few years, I was getting a lot of endorsement money.” “I don't remember specifically how much the check was, but the first time I looked at my bank account, I saw $13.4 million.” “Seeing eight figures in my account for the first time, I was like, 'Yeah, I made it.' But I didn't touch it. I just wanted to look at it.” “My first big purchase was a fancy, La-Z-Boy style massage chair for my grandma Winston.” “It cost about $4,600 and had the built-in compartments to massage your legs and back.” “My grandma was a diabetic and worked as a nurse clerk, so seeing the smile on her face and how much it helped her daily life was everything.” “Growing up, the only time you ever saw a vibrating chair was at the mall. Getting her that chair is my real claim to fame.”

This was one of my first commercial attempts ever. I was walking back from the range and told the camera guy to “do it live”.

HASAN SHIBLY tells SNEAKO what it was like returning to SYRIA after the fall of the Assad regime, describing the first time he truly felt SAFE, RESPECTED and AT HOME in his own country. ☪️🇸🇾 “The first time I wasn’t afraid of the government. The first time I wasn’t afraid I’d be forced into a secret prison or forced to shave my beard. It was incredible. I felt at home, I felt safe — and the beautiful thing is, so did my Christian neighbours.”

I don’t know where to begin, so I’ll start here: my view from one Dragon to another. I don’t have words yet for the whole experience, so a picture will have to do. This was my first attempt at a time-lapse (thank you, Astro Ayers, for many great tips). Aurora over the South Pacific, Orion rising, satellites in the distance, and my favorite planet, all from a wild new perspective. That Dragon undocked and returned to Earth a few days ago with Crew-10. It was a bittersweet farewell but marked the start of a new chapter in what feels already like a great story.

Ayumi and the P-Balloon (Popping) After about a year, I finally got around to finishing my first inflation animation. This was very fun to make and I hope to do more in the future!

The Gaussian Pole in Action Here is the first capture I made on my initial attempt using standard camera settings. From a single 360-degree orbit around the bike, I extracted 452 images from the five DJI Osmo Action 4 cameras. For ease of viewing and sharing, I rendered the output with luma. While the overall result isn't bad, the details could be sharper. I'll need to tweak the camera settings. Nonetheless, I'm quite pleased with this first effort, and there's significant potential to enhance the quality further with camera setting adjustments.

Took a trip out to the woods in Tennessee a while back. Think this was the first time I sang Let Me In outside of the studio. To some degree I kind of feel like I’m starting all over again. Thanks for your love on this song, I’m so glad you like it X

Cali Caliente explains how she passed out while getting ready for a shoot after trying a larger butt plug without properly preparing first. Somehow, after waking up on the bathroom floor, her first concern was whether her makeup was still okay: “I was getting ready to shoot for FreakMob.” “I wanted to shoot with my butt plug in with the other talent.” “I went inside the bathroom to go put my butt plug in to get ready to shoot.” “And I passed out.” “I wanted to go bigger than the one that I had previously.” “The first time that I used that butt plug, I actually opened up.” “First I played with it, got my hole open, then I put it in.” “This time I just kind of stuck it in there and my body wasn't prepared.” “So then I passed out.” “I hit my head on the bathtub.” “I put it in and I felt kind of funny.” “I think I stood up too fast.” “I was sitting on the toilet and I just remember leaning forward.” “A couple seconds later I heard somebody knocking on the door.” “I was just like, ‘Is my makeup okay?’” “I saw on the side of the bathtub there was like a little mark from my makeup.” “I was like, fuck, I got to shoot the scene.”

Jaylen Brown says he had his first NBA paycheck mailed to him so he could hold it in his hands: $182,000 “I told them to mail it to me so I could just feel it and touch it. I wanted to see my first check. I wanted to feel it in my hand” “The first check that I got was $182,000. I remember seeing that as an 18-year-old coming from a single parent household. I just saw $182,000 hit on the first check and I was like, ‘Alright, welcome to the NBA’”
