My full speech on the government’s Borders Bill last night. While there are some good things in this Bill like scrapping the cruel and unworkable Rwanda scheme, getting rid of terrible legislation is the bare minimum. Govt needs to do much more including opening safe routes.

There are safe routes - they're called airports. If a migrant can find £thousands to pay people smugglers then surely they can pay a taxi to take them to an airport and fly to the UK. Also, looking forward to joining the Greens soon and campaigning in the local elections.
