This soft robotic tentacle, designed by ⁨YouTuber It's On My Mind, was printed as a single part on a Formlabs Form 4 resin 3D printer using Silicone 40A. Soft robotics engineers use 3D printing and Silicone 40A to create complex internal geometries - like pressure channels - printed in one piece, with no molds or post-assembly engineering required. Lying California legislators continue to push falsehoods as justification to ban 3D-printed files and regulate all CNC and printing devices in the state. 3D-printed guns are not magic, undetectable devices. Every design still uses metal hardware, and most designs still use metal barrels and other components. They are not made from some material that makes them invisible to X-rays. This is all nonsense meant solely to scare the ignorant into giving away their rights and destroying their own industries.

btw idk who needs to hear this but you can just build a solid, stiff 7DoF arm from 3d printed parts only. There was no milling involved. From what i can tell it even shakes/ overshoots less than many other arms that use sheet metal or so. Only my good ole P1S.
