My house caught on fire. Started from an electrical outlet.

That sucks. Glad everyone is doing ok. My advice from losing my own house in a fire is do not hire an Insurance Adjuster. Find a contractor you trust and go with them. Insurance Adjuster will take a piece of your claim and it’s a process you can easily do. Good luck!

I was charging my lawnmower battery. But it looks like it started from the wall. So I don’t know. I know they’re gonna investigate it today.

Damn... yeah those lithium batteries can be bad like that. Nowadays I never leave something charging unattended or out of sight. Not even my phone, really... If I'm gonna leave or go to bed or something I unplug all that shit..

I’ve never had a problem with lithium batteries charging them, but I always unplugged them or remove them from the charger at night before bedtime for that reason… i’ve heard of so many fires started with these lithium batteries, charging them overheating catching fire..
