During Saturday night’s Progressive Victories “Choose Your Fighter” event, Hasan Piker (hasanabi) blamed “Islamophobia” for attacks against him, Zohran Mamdani (Zohran Kwame Mamdani), and Abdul El-Sayed (Dr. Abdul El-Sayed), saying: “And I will say a big part of this is actually Islamophobia… And we saw this with Zohran, not only just my association being used or being weaponized against him in some way… But also tying Zohran back to religious extremism, tying myself back to religious extremism.
