I need to clarify something. This is an effect for Substance Painter to quickly add damage materials, not to allow games to have real time damage in them. I have no clue how to do that part because I'm not a Technical Artist

could this be applied into a game 3D model as a function? like if the player uses a sword on the using that material as armor then the armor would detect the weapon's hitbox and applie the torn effect?

@AstigmaArt Maybe in the future, I think . It's currently being done inside of substance painter, which is a one based texturing program.
