My OSCQuery app can now render as its own SteamVR overlay application instead of a desktop window, with some basic input (ImGui .NET + Veldrid + OpenVR API). I wanted to try making an ImGui overlay for months, finally. Source code:

Great standalone tool that's already saved me a bit of debug pain. The Action Menu controls being accessible in a Quick Menu tab with this layout would be so neat.

Oh geez, I've been wanting something like that for ages. Surprised someone didn't make one earlier, but glad I won't have to hack one out myself!

This is my first ever vibecoded mobile app :D A productivity app called Blockd Blockd is there for blocking apps to gain your lifetime back. Besides some minor UI issues it works nicely and can block apps with an overlay. :) Built in Antigravity with only Gemini models

I can now adjust pretty PS1 skies in real time. PCSX-Redux emulator lets me poke PS1 RAM and change values in it with Dear ImGui. :)

Introducing proof of concept React Imgui! The name is a joke, but it is accurate enough. In the last few days I have been working on a prototype of React driving Dear ImGui using Static Hermes. The result is a fully native app written almost entirely in JavaScript, using unmodified React, typed JS, plus a very small amount of glue C++ code and unmodified Dear ImGui and Sokol. The actual renderer translating React into Dear ImGui is written entirely in typed JS using zero-cost FFI. Of course this wouldn't be possible without React's great design and flexibility. I find it really fascinating that I was able to take literally unmodified React, write a little extra JS, and get a functional fully native app so quickly. Of course everything is unoptimized, and prototype code quality, and who knows how buggy, but it seems to work well enough. Please, watch the video to see it in action. If there is interest, I will write a more detailed article.

a quick reminder that OBS actually understands transparency if you're using window capture so Rewrite can just straight up invade your overlay, which i think is very awesome,,, im still rlly proud of this whole segment, i fear i may not code something as cool as this ever again
