They are USELESS, as evidenced by the 118th U.S. Congress under Republican leadership, which is one of the least productive in recent history. In 2023, they managed to pass only 27 bills into law from 724 votes cast, a significant decline compared to previous years. For example, in 2022, under Democratic control, the House conducted 549 votes and successfully passed 248 bills into law. This drastic difference in legislative output raises serious questions about their competence and even justification for their salaries. The competition between you and a twice impeached, 4 times indicted candidate facing 91 criminal charges seems absurd, but it centers around ONE THING: Immigration. Our immigration system desperately needs comprehensive reform. For decades, Republicans have shown a persistent reluctance to engage in meaningful, bipartisan discussions on this issue, often resorting to unproductive criticism and fearmongering as elections approach. It is crucial that we change this dynamic. I urge you to publicly in the strongest terms challenge Speaker Johnson and his DO-NOTHING Putin caucus colleagues in the House to collaboratively develop a bipartisan bill to address this immigration issue and place the responsibility squarely on them. This issue must be tackled LOUD, openly and transparently, ensuring accountability and progress. We must prevent the use of immigration as a divisive political tool by these 🤡s every election cycle. Before it's to late, please seize this opportunity to effectively resolve the immigration crisis by enforcing bipartisanship, or at the minimum WIN! If the opposition fails to contribute constructively, their inaction should send a clear message to the electorate in 2024. This is all they have. TAKE IT away. Without this LIE, they have nothing. Can we just be honest with each other for once? You and your predecessor both say the same thing, then you agree to a stopgap, then we get told you approve funding “without” fixing or funding the border security, and it starts all over again. PREDICTION: So, here is my prediction: you will fund the government till March while you say you are working out a deal that includes money to close the border and secure it. Then, come March, after Biden gives amnesty to the millions of illegals, you will again pass this bill as it is and try to make people believe it will somehow help. Then, it will start all over again.
