My problem with the media from both sides isn't that they lie. It's that they tell me their side of the story that they want me to know and not the whole story.

The problem is that there wasn't a debate. We were told one set of facts from the top down that turned out to be a lie that was fairly obvious to anyone not in their echo chamber.

Thank you @billmaher for being a voice of reason. I was once on the extreme left until I realized in 2021 how much the media (and my university) had pushed me in that direction. Media is a huge source of misinformation. Now I investigate everything myself before I believe it!

This is what you’re posting the morning after the Faux News election fraud story breaks?

There are no "both sides", it's one.

Especially on the gun issue. All we hear about is how evil & scary guns are but we never hear about the millions crimes that guns prevent & the untold number of lives saved.

My problem with you is that you do the same thing

Oh OK, Mr Sanctimonious Bill Maher is now calling out the media for lies after he was singing from the same hymnal when the media was making up lies for four years about Trump’s America First agenda. China was on their heels, there was peace and no wars for four years. 🙄

Exactly. And when they get their side of the story wrong, they refuse to retract it in any meaningful way. Just act as if it never happened.

I was literally just sharing this sentiment today with a friend of mine. Share the news not your opinion of the news and allow humans to use their critical thinking

Agreed. In other words, not the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Anything less is narrative and agenda and that's all corporate media does anymore.
