Do you want to have an honest discussion about Americas "gun violence"? Didn't think so...

Who are you? Did you just put yourself on the same scale with Charlie Kirk? Seriously? You're a delusional narcissist and therefore anything you say is to be disregarded as the ramblings of just another nutjob.

We’re not angry because of the tool that was used. We’re angry because someone thought that his beliefs justified his murder.

The left is radical. They label everyone they disagree with a fascist nazi, and they have been celebrating the murder of a moderate conservative. Your movement is rotten at it's core.

I'm not a conservative. I'm not even American, but berating his supporters is really scummy behaviour. Is this the narrative progressives are going with? Gun vioIence? What if the asssassin used a knife? Will you copout and call it 'knife vioIence'? It was POLITICAL vioIence.

I’ll let Charlie Kirk share his own thoughts on this.

I think the real issue is, liberal types regularly say ALL conservatives are nazis because of the few bad apples that agree with some of the conservative talking points. But the majority of conservatives would rightfully disavow racism and nazis in any form. On the other side, liberals routinely have people that would be “bad apples” on their side but they would never ever disavow them, like antifa. That’s the difference. I don’t like liberals, I think they don’t vote for the needs of themselves or their country, but would I do anything I could to prevent harm coming their way? Of course. But if the shoe were on the other foot, you would want me, my family, my livelihood, all of it destroyed.

Why not real conversations on * Gun violence * Gun control * Access to mental healthcare * Expanding access to mental healthcare * Trans mass shooters * Immigrants * The radical left * Gender ideology If you only want to have real conversations on topics you'd prefer, seems like you're happy keeping the other side silent. Like him or not, Charlie wasn't about that.

So can you Google the last time a big political leftist has been assassinated?

Charlie Kirk was at a college campus speaking peacefully and was murdered. For voicing his opinion. And you come on here and lecture us. Unreal.

The left decided Charlie needed to die and this post proves it. That's really really over the line. War.

I'm all for you getting some access to mental healthcare, and not a gun.

Talk about what? We don't know anything about the situation apart from Kirk is dead and the gunmen didn't hurt anyone else. If you wanna talk about gun control the Evergreen school shooting is probably a better subject for it. Single target situation like Kirk is basically impossible to prevent, the weapon could be anything.

I’m never going to have a meaningful conversation about gun control because fundamentally guns are not the problem—a woman was just murdered on public transit with a small pocket knife. But if you want to talk about mental health, let’s talk about trans affirmation & asylums.

Listen, bud. I've got guns. I've had them for years. I've never shot anyone, or wanted to shoot anyone. Our firearms are a right, and they're protection against a tyranical government, or an invading force. Just because people on the left like you wish to use them to do harm, or black thugs use them to kill each other because they can't handle the responsibility doesn't mean that the rest of us should lose our rights over it. Charlie himself wouldn't change his positions on guns if he could speak about it even now. Don't expect anyone who supports Charlie to do anything but agree with his opinions any more than they did before. Your tiny brain wants to go to just taking all of the guns away from everyone, completely removing our ability to fight back against tyranny or opposing forces, because you lack morals, principles, and nuance. Charlie said that some gun deaths were necessary to keep the right to firearms, just like we accept the deaths of people in automobile accidents to continue having automobiles. A significantly larger number of people die in auto accidents than die to guns. Should we ban cars to protect their lives? Or do you accept that a certain number of deaths is acceptable to continue having a car? Of course, cars are a privilege, and not a right. The right to self defense is as important as the right to life itself. Screw you and your deaf ass sounding self.

Dude, it’s not gun control. It’s mental health. I went to school everyday with a shotgun in my truck proudly displayed and guess what? ZERO. Gun viloence. ZERO. Had an issue, use your fists and then shake hands after.

Fine. Let’s have the discussion. A mentally ill individual, which let’s get that out of the way - they ARE mentally ill, purchasing a weapon to NOT defend themselves or hunt game or sport, but rather to intentionally kill someone. How is the person selling them the gun knowing their clear intentions when all proper background checks, assuming they’ve been purchasing legally, shows no mental illness backgrounds because most of them aren’t actually labeled mentally ill until AFTER the fact. So, the gun reform you’re talking about is a statement of “if one person can do it, we all can do it because we have access.” Or maybe… just maybe, we can stop ignoring vital mental illness signs and begin treating them REGARDLESS of public perception. Crazy idea but maybe less crazy people with guns = Less shootings.

You don't really want to have a conversation about gun violence because every time anyone brings up stats about where most of it comes from, you call them a racist and bury your head in the sand. The mental health discussion is more complex but receives a similar response any time someone digs into any facet of it.
