I didn't even think Daniel pushes one way or another. Watched his videos while trying to decide between 5070 Ti and 9070 XT and still went 5070 Ti. They are only good for finding info and benchmarks quickly. I make my own decisions from their numbers not their opinions.

I stopped watching TechTube a while ago. Alot of these dudes are Shills for certain corpos and it comes across in their videos quite clear. The best thing to do is Extrapolate information from multiple sources and ultimately make your own buying decision.

These guys are more upset they have to deal with scalped cards than actually reporting on technology and advancements. Yes, scalping is bad. No, it's not the only thing that fucking matters. Nor are AI datacentres. These are not tech review channels, they are activists.

Daniel really should just stick to his day job...and Tom should probably find one. The reality is being "pro AMD" makes you money in this circle. It likely comes down to the fact that the most vocal AMD users spend more time arguing in comment sections about tech than actually playing games. Online perception vs real-world reality are two entirely different universes. From social media, you’d think AMD holds more than half the PC market and everyone is boycotting Nvidia out of pure principle. But look at actual hardware data and real-world sales... Nvidia completely dominates while Radeon fights for scraps. The internet amplifies the outrage of insecure people who build their identity around a brand, while the overwhelming majority of the gaming world simply buys what works best, boots up their games, and gets on with their lives.

Neural rendering is coming to the Helix and PS6. It’s not some super secret tech that only Nvidia is developing. AMD just cares about their Sony/Microsoft contracts more than their standalone GPU business unfortunately.
