Here is a full showcase of my custom Source 2-like light baking and probe implementation for Unreal Engine 5. Features showcased: - Volume based probe system (full density control, fade between volumes with a volume fade slider, automatic volume priority and custom priority overrides) - GPU Lightmass with expanded features like a custom denoiser and overall QOL (like a bake volume which only bakes objects inside the volume for fast prototyping) - Custom Box Capture implementation to make it easier to use (basically just a custom way of scaling the box capture component since its so annoying) - A custom fullbright viewport option for easier map editing (without having to get visual clutter in the way) Will eventually release on FAB as a plugin for UE 5.7. 💬: is your eye color genetic? 👑: well my mother's eyes are very light, too. i guess, i take after my mom’s eyes. actually, my mom told me about these light eyes—i don’t know if it’s true or not, but she said having light eyes isn't always a good thing. it’s something i heard when i was a kid. i don't mean to boast, but people told me my eyes were pretty when i was a kid. my mom's eyes are also light, so she’d tell me, “your eyes are just like mine”. she also said having light eyes isn't always a good thing. when i asked why, she told me it’s because when it’s sunny— it's harder for light eyes to deal with the glare. so she said that when the sun is beaming down, it’s probably hard to keep your eyes open 💬: your noona? 👑: my noona doesn’t have light eyes 👑: no wonder i’m always squinting in the summer when the sun is super bright. meanwhile my friends could keep their eyes wide open like this. so i was like, “is it just me who's blinded by the sun?”. i guess it might just be me. 💬: omg i pretty much walk around with my eyes squinting too 👑: right. for people who struggle to open their eyes in the sun, it must be really tough 👑: for example if we’re shooting an album cover or some important photos outdoors in the sun—for someone like me who can barely open their eyes in the light, the photographers will be like—i just stand there with my eyes closed, and the photographer will be like, “okay, one, two, three”, and i open my eyes, hold it for like two seconds, and then close them again. and then, when they go “one, two, three” again, i open my eyes, try so hard to hold it like *eunngggh* and then close them right back up. that’s how i do my photoshoots 💬: is studio lights/lighting okay? 👑: i’ve gotten used to studio lights/lighting now. i’m totally fine with studio lights/lighting. but i just can't get used to the sun! seriously sunlight is really hard

I’ve cried more times in the past 5 days than I have in the past 5 years. The pain that the Jewish family has gone through this week is unspeakable. And yet, I’ve never seen as much Jewish unity, strength, and connection in all my life. Listen to the words Ishay Ribo just sang to the IDF as they prepare for Shabbos: “Don’t be scared! Our Father is watching over us.” Good will always defeat evil; light will always vanquish darkness; truth will always prevail. The best is yet to come; and with Hashem’s help, the best part of this story will soon be written. Wishing you as meaningful, restful, and peaceful of a Shabbos as you can possibly have under the current circumstances. And always remember: In darkness, a small candle can illuminate an entire room… and a small light can illuminate the entire world. So if you can’t find the light in the darkness… become it.
