Tipping literally isn’t a thing in Australia, it’s absolutely up to the person whether they want to do it or not.

In most places in Europe the price of the dish has tipping included in it, so people don't even have to feel guilt tripped into tipping, it's just assumed you are paying for all services as it is within the bill, also tipping culture is awful for both parties involved.
