My thoughts on Eboni K. Williams saying she wouldn’t date a bus driver unless he “owned the bus.”

This isn’t true at all. The more money a black man makes the more educated he becomes the more race loyal he becomes. You’re response is incorrect and dangerous. Please correct this

Show me the data you’re looking at. Perhaps I’m missing your point.

How do you undermine her and then say i feel you? You couldve left out the first part because as you said, black women are the only people expected to take whatever and be happy. So, no, character is not the primary thing that matters and you very clearly understand that.

I didn’t undermine her. I have a slightly different take.

Just an FYI: the overwhelming majority of black people date (and marry) black people. Regardless of gender. There isn't "a whole lot of black men (or women) who date outside of their race." That is a false statement.

What specifically did I say that was false?

i didnt really trip about what she said because that Eboni K Williams is not a working class person .. the bus drivers, electricians & postal workers that i know are happily married to nurses, teachers & the sister at the checkout counter .. and that sista is finer than EKW ..

There is no problem with defining people by their labor. Bus drivers contribute to society and should be honored accordingly.

Imagine thinking it's your business who someone is attracted to or what their preferences are. If I don't date women who don't like pineapple on pizza, that's my business. This is pathetic coercion, as if anyone is owed someone's time or affection.

People have to understand that YOU are responsible for your OWN happiness. Nobody cares if someone doesn't want a bus driver & no one cares if a person dates outside their race. You live with the choices you make for yourself in your relationships. Good, Bad, or indiferrent
