The best thing they see is some medical advice they're getting on ChatGPT or something, and that's kind of the end of it for them. While walking in downtown Portland, Ore., I saw a man overdose on the street. People regularly openly abuse drugs on the streets despite hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer money spent each year to combat homelessness and related substance abuse issues. Tens of millions are poured into left-wing nonprofits that are part of the homelessness industrial complex in particular. These groups reject evidence-based research and instead argue for unending funding to enrich themselves and further their ideologies.
