What’s your attitude when you get a windy day on the course? One of the best things about playing links golf is you get used to the wind. You go from fearing it to craving it. (When the course is made for wind.) We had a super windy day at Kennemer in Holland. Had 180 yards straight into the breeze on 9, went with a dead hand 7 wood and struck gold. A great shot is always satisfying. But the more variables you take on, the more satisfying it is. Learning to treat wind as an opportunity to really play golf completely changes your enjoyment level.

SGA likely didn’t suffer the injury last night. He’s been suffering with an abdominal strain for a couple of games now. He likely exacerbated it last night and OKC felt like this was a good time in the schedule to get him some rest. Here’s a clip of him before the Denver game on Sunday. Driving to my plane last night my heart swelled with pride seeing the tens of US Air Force refueling planes parked at Ben Gurion airport. The US does not have a base at Ben Gurion. But when it needs assistance in maintaining and fueling its aircraft, Israel, as America’s best friend, is always willing to help. Israel will always be there for America and its citizens and no amount of Jew-hatred from the far right or far left will change that!

My surgery went well yesterday - thank you everyone for all the kind words and prayers. I know this corner of ours means it when they say it. Lotta pain, but that's to be expected. Now lemme put a smile on your face: We've done this so many times with old shelter dogs, and the pattern is almost always the same - when they get here, they're usually nervous and quiet; unsure of what is in store and what their life is gonna be like. After being here with me, OBX Dog Walker and the rest of the dogs, they start to relax and be the dog they wanna be; the dog they were or could have been before they were abandoned. Molly was so quiet and reserved when we got her, and now? Yeah. She's right at home, letting me know I need to get off my ass and feed her. Love to see it. And I'm grateful to all of you.
