Two porch pirates race each other to steal a FedEx package just seconds after it’s dropped off at a home’s front door. The unbelievable moment is caught on camera as both men jump out of their cars and sprint toward the package after it is delivered “Not really worried about the phones… but what if this guy would have hurt one of my family members…. Is this really what the world has come to?” the homeowner posted. “Also how did they find out these phones were being delivered? Something fishy is going on here.”

A young farmer and his brother were going to farm with moi moi and pure water for lunch, when the officers stopped them at the checkpoint asking what they were carrying. He told them it’s food, water and moi moi. The officers insisted they must search the bag; since they weren’t wearing a tagged uniform, the farmer insisted to record them as they searched his bags — all hell broke loose. The police officer became violent and started beating him for questioning their job and “illegally” recording them. They then threatened to kill him in the bush. As the assault escalated, his brother intervened and pulled the officers away. The officers then recorded this part, and sent it to the DPO of Etung Divisional HQ, who immediately ordered the arrest of the two brothers for “fighting” an officer on duty, and later collected ₦150k from their family for their bail. I’ve been to some creepy houses in my day, most of them were older with structures I never understood. Most of the time I just ignore it, don’t let it bother me, and finish up my stay. Being a ghost hunter it’s hard for me to get too freaked out that I would actually leave. Most of the time I’m just curious why they built it the way they did. This couple is staying an an Airbnb with a finished home in the ceiling of the shower. There is a room in the bedroom that leads to that area but it’s locked off with a sign that says private. Is this like a safe space for the owner or maybe it’s an unfinished area he thought was unsafe? It’s hard to say, but it does peak the imagination on what it could be. Another one I been to was more like a bed and breakfast but it was still listed on Airbnb. What made it creepy to me was it reminded me of the movie The Village, the people there felt so out of place like they were stuck in the early 1900’s it was unsettling how they spoke and how they moved. The house was decorated and finished with allot of wood and allot of carpet like an elderly grandparents home from the 70’s. The whole vibe was like time stood still around this area. For me that’s what made it so eerie. They still used landline phones and old TVs. Maybe it was purposely done like this for nostalgia or for a feeling of coziness. However it wasn’t for me, I wouldn’t stay there again. They didn’t even have WiFi.

One said, this is not what I signed up for. Three of them declined voluntary deployments, and they were deeply uncomfortable with what they were doing. Has it been tense with the National Guard around?” Tom Manger: “So, it has not been tense as far as the public and the National Guard, but I think it's it really is no secret that many of the national Guard's folks, National Guard folks, don't understand what the purpose of their being there is. I know that I'll have quick interactions with them when I see them occasionally. And, you know, they'll – they'll roll their eyes. And so, I – and I think they – they understood at first when they were deployed there with all the other federal resources.
