It’s been an outrageous weekend for Vanderbilt Baseball 2026 commit RJ Cope, a 6-foot-8 first baseman and lefty with top-of-scale raw juice from the left side at the plate. The big man is 10-for-16 with a homer, double, four walks to two Ks and three stolen bases. It’s a no-doubt power over hit profile but he’s done an outstanding job of waiting for his pitch and depositing it in gaps like in the video below when he put a defensive two-strike swing on a ball to cash in runs for his team in a critical spot. All of this and Cope is still new to hitting. His potential is off the charts with the bat.

Scottie Scheffler says his preparation has now changed for his Open Championship title defence next week after missing the cut at the Genesis Scottish Open. He also reacted to his made cut streak ending: “Yeah, it's a little different now with some of the Signature Events not having cuts. For the past three to four years now, I usually go on holiday twice a year — one international solo trip and one local family vacation. I do go for my solo vacation in spring and our family holiday is during the summer when the kids are on school break. Schools have finally shutdown for summer break last week and the kids are already all pumped up for our family vacation which will be coming up in few weeks from now. We haven't yet gone for our family summer vacation for this year but babe has already started making plans for our 2027 summer holiday. Last weekend, she brought up the idea of just the two of us going on a boat cruise next summer. She wants it to be just me and her without the kids. She suggested that we bring in a family member on invitation from Naija, such that there will be a family at home with the kids while we both go on a lovey-dovey boat cruise to western Europe. She advised that we should start saving up for the adventure by September. This woman and long term planning are five and six, and that virtue has been very helpful in helping us avoid financial pressure. We do everything with ease, thanks to her wisdom. For instance, two weeks before the end of the session that ended last week, we have already bought the kids school uniforms for 2026/27 academic session that will be starting in September; thanks to my wife's wisdom. If she hasn't suggested it, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind at all. I am awake now, staring at this beautiful woman sleeping peacefully next to me and I feel nothing but joy in my heart and total love for her. I am really blessed to have someone like her as my better half. I am the often chaotic and the more expressive person while she is the calm, quiet and better organised one. We perfectly compliment each other. It'll be our 12th anniversary in exactly a month's time from now, and I really look forward to our anniversary getaway weekend. Cheers to forever, baby.

August 2nd, 2025 •the day LP planned to perform a synchronised long distance duet where; Tian Lei sings “I Can” on the Hi6 episode which was supposed to air on Aug 2nd (filmed on July 6th) and Ziyu also sings “I Can” in Guiyang stage on the same day (would've been his first big music festival. he was announced in Yancheng later) •the song has "star(xing) gazing" in the lyrics; connecting to their Xuelang mountain visit, which is the best spot to watch meteor showers (liuxing yu), on July 30 (it was the season of fireflies and meteor showers in Wuxi) –ZY wore a star themed outfit and initially TL's representative emoji was also a star⭐️ (ZY calls TL "Xiong Da" from Boonie Bears who is also referred to as a star⭐️ in that anime) –ZY also imitated TL's nose bridge moles in his makeup. •they even colour coordinated their outfits to be pink🩷 and blue🩵 –the photoshoot for his “I Can” cover release (9.13.25) was done in Guiyang on 1st August. there ZY wore pink n blue makeup and pink n blue star pins, on a shirt from a brand named "Song For The Mute" —TL's nickname was "Mute" in July 2025 bc of his lack of public appearance due to black waters, and cut the sleeves of the shirt making a ‘cut sleeve’ reference—a euphemism for male homosexuality. making it more than obvious who this song is about through all of this. •the hi6 episode didn't air, but TL gave a surprise piano accompaniment to ZY's “I Can”: it was amateur compared to the professional one that played in rehearsals as reported by fans. there were errors at the beginning, evident from ZY's expression which then shifted to delight when he realised who it was and started matching his pace with the piano. many said: "first time seeing a singer waiting for the accompaniment and intentionally slowing down to match the piano" 😭 •ZY did a shoot with paper windmills, three days before TL posted the windmills that were on his way to Yancheng. •After receiving the crushed ice blue bouquet ZY hugged the flowers and told himself, "Don't cry.
