Honest work

What the hell kind header is that ?

Deere 708

I’ve never seen one with reels like that

Is that the or germinated corn on the ground?

It’s Teaweed. It shows up on the sand late. Especially when there is plenty of light..

It’s easier to hear the auger slip clutch with the tunes off, and they might bring some joy, which is not allowed. Yes an affiliate business to OMC, LLC

Yep, not fun. Not that it makes anyone feel better, but pretty common this year. Crown rot + wind/rain.

When did you all get hit? Ours went down second week of August.

Just a couple weeks ago during that real hot & humid week. Random isolated T-Storms. It’s not too widespread thankfully.

This was my 2025 harvest on 80% of my corn acres. Stay safe, stay calm. It’ll all work out in the end.

Shelling corn using the same setting as for harvesting soybeans that’s a huge advantage! 🌽

What is for?

What percentage of your crop went down?

80+% is some degree of down. Probably 25% is down bad like in the video. We had three separate wind events the second week of August. The further along the corn the worse it went down.

Whoof. Hopefully you've got a tote of bourbon at home to keep you sane.

I think it would take more than that! It will be fine. Just need about 6 weeks without much rain and low humidity. The down corn attachments are doing their job.

Patriot reel?

Yes

No it’s not it’s miserable

interesting machine
