This guy’s a fucking retard who doesn’t understand that average life expectancy is greatly influenced by infant mortality.

Infant mortality brought down the average lifespan by a LOT. And indoor plumbing cured more diseases than all the vaccines combined. This guy always spouts of nonsense.

The largest problem in the USA is people who are dumb as fuck. Are basically telling the Scientist of the world. That they know more science than them. It's the largest grift on the planet right now. Like the flat Earth morons running around.

I'm glad I didn't take the Covid jab. Thats doesn't mean I'm against vaccines. I'm just against rushed, not thoroughly tested, government mandated vaccines.

Neil degrasse Tyson legit has a 90 IQ lmao Infant mortality rate declining is the biggest reason why the average lifespan has increased. If you survived childhood back in the day you lived much longer than 30 years. Absolute midwit

Just here for the comments. I love seeing the anti-vaxxers try and prove they are smarter than scientists. And when they lose the science argument they play the corruption card. Most have no scientific data to back it up, and those that claim they do refrence discredited, small sample size studies. Now, I wil admit that Covid was rushed into production - they may have followed the same sequence as other testing, but the testing time was compressed and they couldn't be 100% sure there were no long term impacts. But the virus was running through unhealthy populations at a rapid pace, so goverments had to make the ultimate risk-reward decision. Trump had OPERATION WARP SPEED and Biden had to deal with the back half of the pandemic as well. The most important thing we can do now is learn from it.

99% of the rise in life expectancy is due to sanitation. Anti biotics and vaccines is less the 1%. Granted they have there place and have done good, crediting them in the same league as sanitation means he's getting a kick back from pharma.

Sanitation, nutrition, and hygiene were the dominant drivers — not vaccines/antibiotics. Neil is a knucklehead.

This guy is such a clown. Conveniently left out the industrialization of agriculture. He made sure to throw in sanitization because he'd get clowned harder. "Sanitation vs. Modern Medicine: Demographers often point out that the massive leap in global life spans began decades before the invention of antibiotics and most modern vaccines. The dramatic drop in infectious disease mortality during the late 19th and early 20th centuries is almost entirely credited to the sanitary revolution. [1, 2]"

Neil is spot on. You have a choice becauss of how successful science has been in expanding our lifespans. You can be skeptical all you want but the facts are the facts.

I like how he neglects to mention that most vaccinations are thoroughly studied and tested before being pushed to the general public. The Covid vaccine was not. I don't see how someone as smart as Neil can be so stupid as to trust an untested chemical mixture being pushed into your body.

He leaves out the part that in the 20th century, the global elites decided to use pharma to cull the masses. I'm not against vaccines, just against the modern companies that make them.

High childhood deaths pulled the average way down, but adults who survived to reproductive age had a decent shot at middle-to-old age by historical standards.

Science is great! It’s when humanity is asked to blindly trust untrustworthy organizations and bureaucrats who already have a history of habitual prevarication that things go off the rails. “Trust the science” is the stupidest anti-science statement ever puked into the collective human consciousness. Science, real science, doesn’t “trust the science”. Dogmatic scientists do, but the actual empirical method of doing real science does not.

Neil Degrasse has to be the dumbest scientist on the planet. He doesnt understand basic statistics. Doesnt understand simpsons paradox. Doesn't understand that reduced longevity numbers from 200-300 yeara ago were from high infant mortality rates. Most of our early presidents living into their 70's and 80's. John Adams died at 90.

average was 35, but that’s because so many died in childhood. Many people made it to 80-100. The numbers are heavily skewed but if you could make it to about 16 you had a great chance to see 60-70. He’s acting as if people started dying off fast at 35.

NDT is an example of someone that is good at one thing so he thinks he knows everything. Bill Gates too. You're not a immunologist or a virologist and if you were any kind of scientist you would known the science by its very nature is never settled and demands skepticism. The one thing he doesn't say is at various times, the so-called smartest people in the world were absolutely wrong.

Bill Maher Tells Mike Tyson what he Doesn't like about Islam. Bill Maher: “You’re a Muslim. Is the whole family Muslim?” Mike Tyson: “It’s my wife and my kids. They have to choose what they want to be.” Bill Maher: “And you’re okay with that?” Mike Tyson: “Absolutely.” Bill Maher: “That is not a point of view that’s even allowed in many Muslim countries around the world. There is one religion, it is Islam, and they’re not big on, ‘Hey, you know what? Let’s agree to disagree.’” Mike Tyson: “But listen, I’m not Allah.” Bill Maher: “I know. I’m just saying that’s something you’re allowed to do here as an American Muslim.” Mike Tyson: “I learned from experience. I’m not going to stop that growth from something that my growth is extending with. I’ve grown with it, but that’s not their growth.” Bill Maher: “I’m just pointing out that this enlightened point of view is not found uniformly around the world.” Mike Tyson: “You’d be surprised how many Muslims want to come in that think the way we think.” Bill Maher: “I’m not surprised. And women who don’t want to wear the you know, whatever the thing that looks like a cover of a motorboat.” Mike Tyson: “Well, some people are more modest. I wish I had the dignity to be that modest.” Bill Maher: “Modest? Why do you say that?” Mike Tyson: “Because they believe in covering themselves, and I’m like, you said I gotta be I don’t have much money. I gotta be in this cheap-ass plane with all these people and talking to these people.” Bill Maher: “One thing is modesty. Completely covering a woman so you don’t see any of her is different. This isn’t modest. That’s pathological.” Mike Tyson: “Suppose she’s happy with that.” Bill Maher: “She’s not. Oh my God, she’s not happy with it. I mean, you can brainwash someone into liking anything.”

Lamar Jackson says he watched friends chase fast money while he was playing the long game and counting how many years it would take him to reach the NFL “I’m seeing my friends who I was growing up with who I was playing football with… Just throw their life away for fast money and stuff like that. They used to tell me ‘Oh, you talk too much’. Because I used to always speak about football and positivity stuff. They didn’t want to hear that.” “Now it’s like… They’d rather hear it now because I’m Lamar Jackson. But I’ve been speaking about it. Everybody just wasn’t listening. I was already seeing what was going on. I wish we could go back in time and y’all could see what I was seeing. Because I always looked at life like, I counted years.” “Like I would think… ‘How many years does it take to get to the league?’ They’re saying… ‘You do three years in college.’ I said… ‘I’m doing three years.’ I’m not doing four. I’m not trying to go fifth year. I’m doing three years because I’m going to make sure my family is good.” “If you’re coming from a place like where I come from, don’t try to be like the guys around you. Don’t look up to the stuff that looks like it’s fun… Because sometimes it gets you in trouble.” “It’s sacrificing. ‘Man, I can’t have fun right now. I’ve got to get my family right. I can’t do this right now. I can’t mess up.’ Forget the fast money. I’ve got to think about longevity.” “You can get locked up and do five years for $1,000. That money gone. It’s gone. You’re like… ‘Man, I just did that for $1,000…’ And I could have waited five years and I would’ve had $10 million.” “That’s why I’m where I’m at right now. That’s how I used to think. My mom working… She’s busting her behind. It’s me, my brother and my two sisters at home. I’m the oldest…” “So I’ve got to make sure everybody right. And it’s like… Man, I can’t wait, but I’ve got to wait. That’s the sacrifice. I’ve got to be patient. People don’t look at it like that. It’s like… ‘Man, I need that money right now.’ But you don’t need that money right now. Just wait.”
