Unprecedented vote at the United Nations this past Friday in support of greater collaboration between United Nations and La Francophonie; 167 votes in favor out of 171, through a resolution co-sponsored by more than 70 countries. Beyond political issues, multilingualism is a shared priority. I would like to thank all the States that supported Resolution A/79/L.121. A special word of gratitude to the many "yes" countries that are not members of our organization!

Back up to London. Meeting with our own MP Gideon Amos OBE MP and leader of the party Ed Davey First of a series where we take the conversation to ALL parties. No room for manifesto or political point scoring. As I see it; this is cross party and we want that support to ensure that what needs doing gets done!!!

Today, Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz Olaf Scholz and I signed an Agreement on security cooperation and long-term support between Ukraine and Germany. This is an unprecedented document that guarantees German support for Ukraine in the amount of €7 billion for this year. It envisages weapons delivery under agreed contracts. The agreement also contains Germany’s clear position on sanctions against the aggressor, tribunal, and frozen assets. The agreement also includes a mechanism for urgent consultations in the event of Russia’s military assault on Ukraine. I am grateful to Germany and all Germans for their solidarity with our country and people, as well as all the support and assistance.

PointOdyssey: A Large-Scale Synthetic Dataset for Long-Term Point Tracking paper page: introduce PointOdyssey, a large-scale synthetic dataset, and data generation framework, for the training and evaluation of long-term fine-grained tracking algorithms. Our goal is to advance the state-of-the-art by placing emphasis on long videos with naturalistic motion. Toward the goal of naturalism, we animate deformable characters using real-world motion capture data, we build 3D scenes to match the motion capture environments, and we render camera viewpoints using trajectories mined via structure-from-motion on real videos. We create combinatorial diversity by randomizing character appearance, motion profiles, materials, lighting, 3D assets, and atmospheric effects. Our dataset currently includes 104 videos, averaging 2,000 frames long, with orders of magnitude more correspondence annotations than prior work. We show that existing methods can be trained from scratch in our dataset and outperform the published variants. Finally, we introduce modifications to the PIPs point tracking method, greatly widening its temporal receptive field, which improves its performance on PointOdyssey as well as on two real-world benchmarks.

After Senator Yuen Pau Woo smeared the Jamestown report of Beijing’s scale of interference in Canada as “disinformation” and “bad fiction,” Peter Mattis called it out for what it is: intellectual laziness and a refusal to engage the evidence. His warning is blunt: the CCP’s United Front network is real, it's active in Canada, and dismissing it only gives Beijing more room to operate. Watch our exchange:

India and the EU, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi ji, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa have inked the 'Mother of all Trade Deals'. The #IndiaEUTradeDeal is a strategic breakthrough in our global trade engagement, unlocking vast opportunities in the $20 trillion EU market for 1.4 billion people. It is a deal that gives unprecedented market access for over 99% of our exports by value, providing a massive impetus to our labour-intensive sectors and bolstering 'Make In India.' This partnership forged between the 4th and 2nd-largest economies, accounting for one-third of global trade, will create unprecedented trade and investment opportunities benefiting businesses, MSMEs, women, youth, artisans, workers, students, skilled professionals, fisherfolk, farmers, and exporters, among others. With care being taken to shield sensitive sectors, rural livelihoods have also been secured while opening up potential to scale in the high-value EU market. A big win has been secured in the services sector with a future-ready mobility framework that will help expand global opportunities for our skilled Indian professionals. This deal is a gateway to the future, enabling India to create high-value jobs, drive innovation, and firmly cement its position as a globally competitive hub for talent and sustainable economic growth.

“I am going to probably use $300M of Anthropic this year at Salesforce.” - Marc Benioff “ These coding agents are awesome. Anthropic is awesome. Coding, everything's going to be cheaper to make, it's more efficient. I can do things that I just could not do before. I can go faster than ever before. I can implement my software and sell it at the same time. I've never been able to do that before. Today, I have humans, agents, and headless platforms all interoperating, never before. So the opportunity for my own company and the efficiency that I have in my own company, in service and support, in distribution and marketing, across the board, is unprecedented. What I can do for our customers, unprecedented. And, to that point, my gosh, have you seen Anthropic? It is a rocket ship that will not stop.”

The Russian army has once again been forced to push back the deadlines it had drawn up for itself for capturing Pokrovsk and Dobropillia. And every Russian loss contributes to our ability to defend our state, our people, our independence. It is symbolic that today we have the most positive European Commission report in three years. This gives Ukrainians even more motivation as Europe recognizes our joint efforts. Ukraine is doing everything to gain EU membership. Even in wartime, even amid the toughest battles, our state keeps moving forward in the membership talks, which is absolutely unprecedented across Europe. Every other EU member state has followed a much easier path. It is crucial that our results are met with proper support in Europe – that the EU fulfills its commitments. Ukraine is ready to open the clusters, and we need a European decision on this. I thank everyone who is helping. I am proud of our people, proud of every single one of our warriors.

What Hyderabad did with its Outer Ring Road is exactly what Chennai should have done. The sheer wasted potential along Chennai’s Outer Ring Road (ORR) is heartbreaking. We have a massive 6-lane bypass ,it was our golden opportunity to anchor planned, high-density satellite nodes with world-class civic infrastructure. Instead, vast parcels are being sliced into speculative 600–1,200 sq ft "villa plots" sold to investors who will just sit on empty land. CMDA and DTCP should have been proactive—mandating transit-oriented high-rises with integrated water, power, and stormwater grids. Instead, we repeat our classic blunder: let low-density sprawl eat the corridor first, then scramble 15 years later to dig up roads for basic utilities. Global cities build infrastructure to steer density. We use ring roads to fuel unregulated layout speculation. When will our planners learn?

BREAKING: SpaceX CFO says AI will create unprecedented demand for Starlink. “Whether it’s humanoid robots, autonomous vehicles, or connection points everywhere, there’s going to be a lot more data. You’re going to need that connectivity. It’s going to need to always be on. Delivering that from space in a very high-bandwidth way is going to be incredibly compelling. “Starship is going to enable our next generation of direct-to-cell and direct-to-device, while giving us the capability to put a whole constellation of satellites up for orbital compute. All of that is driven by Starship, which is why it’s such a catalyst for our company.”

Robots enter data centers! 💽 SeRo developed by NAVER LABS, is built for one of the most overlooked but critical tasks in a data center: managing servers in the IT warehouse. It can autonomously load and unload servers, identify their asset numbers, and log their lifecycle data. Physically, SeRo is designed tall to handle racks up to three meters high, maximizing storage density. SeRo also works as part of a larger system. It hands assets to GaRo, an autonomous transport robot, for seamless movement between warehouse and server room. More AI ops, more data centers, more data centers ops... Perfect market for robotics! 🦾
