Neutron testing continues at our Space Structures Complex in Middle River with the interstage on the test stand ready for its qualification campaign. We're running a series of static load tests and applying ~1,000 tonnes of force to simulate flight loads on the way to orbit.

This Neutron assembly represents the top of Stage 1 and includes the hungry hippo reusable fairing, canards, and the extended interstage with some of the most complex mechanical systems that exist on the vehicle. Next stop: the U.S. East Coast for integration with the rest of the rocket.

Last week, Haven Demo, our in-orbit test bed for critical space station technologies, completed vibration testing. This testing simulates the dynamic quasi-static loads and vibration with 3 dB, or 50% more input power, than the spacecraft will experience during launch. This proves margin and gives us high confidence that the spacecraft will survive the rigors of the launch environment. We are now one step closer to flight readiness, with this test verifying Haven Demo’s structural integrity for launch.

This month, we celebrated our 200th day of hot fire testing on the Mobile Test Stand (MTS)—a huge milestone on our journey to provide orbital and surface delivery services! Christened in March 2019, the MTS includes the avionics and propulsion systems required to perform development testing and performance verification of our main engine, motor valves, and avionics systems. The series of tests executed on our 200th test day advanced our performance, cooling, and stability objectives for the IM-3 main engine injector.
