This is incredible, how does Archeology and the laws about it work on the island? I'm sure there's something under the ground, from the entrance to the bottom of it and around it, there's certainly something in the ground too!

I mean, you certainly can’t go digging or disturbing anything. some secrets will remain secret for a long time, no doubt. Perhaps proper excavation will one day reveal reveal more about how this cave was used and why it was so important

Check out this video of the Mirage-Treasure Island tram from 2017. The tram runs on an elevated guideway for about 1,000 feet from the entrance of the Mirage to the back of Treasure Island. Free to ride, it was a convenient way to get back and forth from the two properties. It's supposed to make a comeback for the opening of the Hard Rock Hotel in 2027. 📽️: northernqueen17 | TikTok

The mural, titled “The Statue of Liberty’s Silent Protest,” was created by Dutch artist Judith de Leeuw, who painted the it over six days a building on Rue de Chemin-de-Fer. de Leeuw said the city of Roubaix "has a large migrant population, and many of them live in extremely difficult circumstances." "The values that the statue once stood for—freedom, hope, the right to be yourself—have been lost for many,” she said. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France to the U.S. and stands on Liberty Island in New York – nearby Ellis Island, which was a stop for immigrants making their way to New York in 19th and 20th centuries. Both make up a National Park.

Sound up for this! Probably the deepest cave I’ve explored in my kayak. This can be found on the island of Wiay in Loch Bracadale, the Isle of Skye. The sea conditions were calm with hardly any swell. I explored deeper than I expected and wonder how many other humans have seen the depths of this sea cave before. I didn’t manage to see the end of it and by the sound, it went much further than I reached. I doubt if the conditions will often allow me to explore the depths again. It’s wonderful that this cave is in my kayaking back yard, so to speak.

This dude was estranged from part of his family during the COVID days for not getting the jab. It’s been four years, and they’ve decided to invite him back to join the family for the holidays, but he won’t be joining them. I think this guy has it right. I sailed to Robben Island to visit the Maximum Security Prison where Nelson Mandela and other liberation heroes were imprisoned. Solitary Confinement Cell No 4 was his home for 18 years. I also flew there the following day to get a better perspective of the winds Captain Bartholomew fought for 14 days before landing at the Cape of Good Hope. Finally, I climbed Table Mountain for an enduring experience of the magnificence of the Island and the Cape.
