Again, THIS WAS NOT AT A BORDER CROSSING. It was a checkpoint in the US WITHIN 100 miles of the border. So.... Border Patrol can have checkpoints up to 100 miles from our actual border. Drive through west Texas and Southern New Mexico, you'll hit a border patrol checkpoint. They will ask you your citizenship. This has been in place for decades....

Agents walk up to his car window and ask, “Are you following us?” The man replies, “Yeah.” An agent immediately escalates and says, “What you are doing is called impeding federal law enforcement. It’s an 18 U.S.C. §111 charge. This is your first and only warning. If you continue to impede and follow us, you will be arrested.” The man then correctly responds, “Yeah, but I’m not impeding you.” Another agent jumps in and says,“You just openly admitted you were following us, so…” And again, the man correctly explains, “I am following you. I’m not impeding you. I’m observing you.” Which is a constitutionally protected right. The agent responds anyway, “It is impeding.” The man replies, “No, it’s actually not.” At that point, the agents become visibly angry that he knows the law and threaten him again, saying, “This is your one warning. If you keep doing it, we will pull you back out and arrest you.” Just to be very clear… Following and observing law enforcement, without interference, is not a crime. For years, maybe a decade, I've wanted to build a writing tool that just did a few things I couldn't find anywhere else. A system that mimicked how I think when I write. Plus, it would have taken months the old way. So this weekend I just made it myself, with Claude's help. It's called Write_On and the short video walks you through it. Essentially it's "alternative control" at the word, sentence, and paragraph level, plus a way to dim stuff back, and stash stuff near by. Not version control, but alternative control. Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed how the Elimination Steel Cage Match on #AEWCollision was changed to an "Escape the Cage" match because "someone [in the House of Black] complained about doing a job". Meltzer reiterated what a lot of us have previously heard about Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews leaving to WWE the second their contracts are up. Meltzer: "Of the guys, I know Daniel Garcia will do a job in a match like that. And I know FTR will do a job because you know, Dax Harwood does a million jobs when the circumstances are right, and Cash Wheeler's not adversed to it. So, you know, and Malakai Black NEVER does jobs, and when this was going on and I'm watching this, one of the things I was thinking watching this is like, these freaking House of Black guys never do jobs, and here's the other thing: I was thinking like, what if they win this match and they're just going like, you know like, two of those three guys are going to the WWE. I mean, they're going. As soon as they can go, they're gone. Even though they were treated like shit in the WWE, and they never do jobs here, and they're still going back to the WWE and my thought is kinda like, why do you keep putting them over when you know they're leaving?"

Tee Higgins has seen Ja’Marr Chase upset before when not getting the ball. This was not one of those cases this past week and he says it’s all about perspective “I mean, you see it, and it's just like, ‘okay, these people don't know what they're talking about, and they think they know, they want to know.’ They want to be where we at. They say he's mad just to get clicks and views, but they don't know. So it is what it is. I mean, people gonna do what they do at the end of the day, and all we can do is just be who we are and keep playing and try to get wins for this organization.”

The teen was working at Target when agents tackled him and arrested him, while his passport was in his pocket, fully identifying himself as a U.S. citizen. None of it mattered. Why?
