Man I miss those days. Friday night go to Blockbuster with the parents. Get two movies and two Nintendo games for the weekend. I couldn’t have been happier.

Blockbuster ruined every town/city video store. They were like Walmart. I hated Blockbuster 😂

It was great, made an event out of renting a movie. Imagine kids nowadays not knowing the joy of grabbing the last copy of the latest release and then cackling maniacally as the kid behind you starts crying.

We had it all and didn't even know it.

The thing is, people who lived in this era actually hated Blockbuster. The local Brick & Mortar rental shops were the shit. Still, it is a vibe, though.

Blockbusters business model of charging you more in late fees than the actual rental fee doomed them to failure. And rightfully so!

i still owe them for 4 late charges and one "Did not return for like $28". Forget the name of the movie now, but it had vampires and the boobies from that girl who was on "who's the boss".
