Never forget when Eric Bischoff finally admits: yes, Hulk Hogan exercised creative control at Starrcade '97 Nash says it best: “You don’t give a wrestler creative control” Hogan looks really bad here and rightfully so. Kevin Nash is the smartest man in this clip 💀

How’s Hogan crapping on about “making money,” when putting over Sting clean leant their arc into a re-match, which would’ve lead towards a rubber match? Doing what they did killed Hogan/Sting as a PPV product when it could’ve been milked for two more marquee matches.

The greatest build with the worst payoff in Rasslin’ History

After Bischoff said on his podcast Hogan didn’t use his creative control that Sting’s head wasn’t in the game and he wasn’t tan. Couple years later he says this. Then on who killed WCW he said sting manifested it. Cmon man pick a story and stick with it at least 🫣🤣

This is why hogan ain't my goat.

I will die on this hill....Hollywood Hogan is the worse thing to ever happen to Pro Wrestling

This was the start of the end. Everyone in the world besides Hogan KNEW Sting had to go over CLEAN there. The biggest match in WCW history.... BOTCHED.

I didn't mind Hogan taking control of the match since Sting hadn't wrestled in a year, but Nick Patrick might have had the single biggest money costing brain gaffe in wrestling history.

Nash literally was the head booker just a few months later, so I guess he’s speaking from experience 😂

That finish was the first nail in the coffin.
