Never thought anyone could top Sam Cooke’s original version until today...Louis Price (formerly of The Temptations) blew the roof off of this cover giving everyone chills🔥 Sang with every fiber of his being!!!!!

Oh yea he was in his bag for sure !!!! 🔥

Straight smoke this 🔥

Man listen he did good, but that wasn’t no Sam Cook nor would it had gave him a run for his money on that song I’m sorry

Ngl, he would’ve gave David a run for his money had they shared a stage 🥴

He’s singing from his soul and life experiences. I’m sure he had the same visions as Sam Cooke and suffered the same hatred and jealousy from, you know who! This is 🔥

Just by looking at his gray hair and knowing his background, he meant every word.

For those that don't know, THAT'S what having "soul" looks like. God bless him and all who were blessed to hear him live. 🙏🙏🙏

Good but No! Sam still the King!

They don’t make voices like this no mo

🔥🔥🔥

Why are people talking in the background? Annoying af

Nice…but no Sam Cooke.

Fire 🔥!!!!

Sheesh!… 🔥

Chills

He did his thang no doubt. But there's no touching Sam on this record.

Dynamic vocals 💖💖💖💖

He still hasn’t been topped he doing too many runs for me instead holding notes I understand it’s his version but still hasn’t topped Sam Cooke

That was amazing!

🔥

Put his whole soul into it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

He must’ve gotten a lot of pussy back then (singing like that)

🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

One of my favorite songs. This is absolutely incredible - wow, just beautiful. ❤️🔥💐

Sensational 💯💯💯

Damn …

He ate this up …

Why do u have to diminish an otherwise good rendition by comparison, why??

It's close.
