I don’t see the need for it anyway, on Terraria it makes sense because ore veins can be really large, but on Minecraft they’re small enough that it seems unnecessary

Ok lets be honest: Nobody actually uses vein miner without it being a hold-button-toggle.

But what about the stone blocks in the overworld, why didn’t they break?

Am I weird for intentionally doing this for underground bases? Tunnel out the surface around it, then shapeless the center until you've got space for a base.
