Grocery stall in South Gaza. Payment via banking app (timestamp: 19 hours ago). The banking app allows Gazans to access their money and buy goods without having to pay the high commission for buying cash. Gazans receive large amounts of money on a regular basis, as salaries from PA, UNRWA, etc, donations from private people and charities, and benefits from various humanitarian agencies, and thus can afford to pay for the products sold in the markets, even those that entered Gaza as free aid. #TheGazaYouDontSee Link in 1st comment

It was a hectic but extremely productive week and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my experiences, insights and thoughts as the world works together to address the climate crisis and gender inequality. Republican Senator Ron Johnson just suggested that since more people die from 'cold weather' than 'warm weather', climate change puts us in a better position and that it is "very favorable to my state [Wisconsin]". Johnson asked: "In terms of excess death we are actually in a better position to prevent death by having the climate increase in temperature a little bit, right?" Shortsighted politicians who don't truly understand the issues are a massive liability, to not only the United States, but to our planet. Ron Johnson has taken over $900,000 from the oil and gas industry in his career. He completely fails to understand the far-reaching impact of climate change. I'm not at all suggesting we stop drilling for oil. The solution is to keep drilling but keep pushing technologies that slow climate change, as quickly as possible. I'm just baffled at the ignorance. Thoughts?

It is a company that says, “I'm going to collect a lot of data for you and analyze it for you.” I don't need you to analyze it for me. I can run models against the data and analyze it myself. Think about it: almost every SaaS company has a marketplace. You can buy applications from the Salesforce Marketplace. What do those applications say? “You have Salesforce data. I'm a marketplace app. Use me, and I'll help you analyze that data.” But I don't need to do that. You don't need those applications anymore. I can simply run an LLM against the data. Therefore, all the additional functionality that has traditionally been sold to us as incremental software modules may no longer need to be sold separately.
