I was flipping through a couple apps/screens as you saw there and it was able to pick it up without real issues, I didn't need to reset anything

I'm on Mac, it doesn't work yet, i togged HUD mode, granted the screen access from system control panel. but it just cannot see my active screen. Anything else need to configure?

Are you on the latest version? It should work for Mac now I believe

Essentially, HUD Mode turns Hermes into an AI assistant that lives right in my workspace and can interact with it. It's really cool - it feels like I'm working with a friend now. 💫

Does the Hermes Desktop App work with remote gateways? I am not able to set mine up after recent updates and is now prompting me to install Hermes locally on this machine

It does! You can change that in the Gateway section

Really eager to go back into hermes. One behavior that sadly broke the hermes experience for me is that every new message to hermes agent stops what ever hermes was working on to look into the new message instead of doing both. Is there a solution to this that I might have missed?

Doesn't work for me (W11 25H2). It just renders as a broken transparent window with some elements visible but not functional. Not sure if W11 config not compatible or because it's a remote gateway.

Somehow it is not working for me. It's only showing the model picker and other options, not the message itself, where we can type.

You want to update to the latest version, that was a known bug that got fixed

The Trading View and video editing demos are where this gets real for me. An agent that shares your context and acts inside your workflow. Ambient cognition as daily practice.

reading and summarizing is forgiving when it's wrong, you just get a bad answer. writing into a video editing project or adding files is a different risk category, there's no diff to check before it lands the way there is with code changes.
