Can I build a dock without Indigenous consent? Can I access the forest next to my land? What does treaty implementation mean for me? Now, Bill C-10 creates a new Commissioner for Modern Treaty Implementation, but it does nothing to clarify how these changes affect homeowners. Worse, it continues a trend of ministers outsourcing their responsibilities to arm’s-length offices. Treaty implementation is the job of elected ministers accountable to Parliament, not a buffer between government and Canadians.

Only in Canada would a government create the largest food inflation crisis in the G7 & then tell Canadians to celebrate the catastrophic inflation. No worries says the government, we can just create even more inflationary debt to mitigate some of the financial burden. What did Canadians get for the tens of billions the government spent on speeding up home building? Less homes being built than before & higher food prices. REJOICE!!! 🤨
