I asked whether they have records of the vaccination status of new arrivals so that vaccination rates of all Australians (both new and existing) could be graphed against known health outcomes. I sort of received a response, but the reality is the ABS does not know the vaccination status of the 2.3 million new arrivals, rendering any data they generate is simply inaccurate. This also applies to births by vaccination status, suggesting that new arrivals from countries where vaccination wasn't pushed have a higher birth rate compared to vaccinated Australians. This data is really important for two main reasons: first, to understand the harm our COVID response did to Australians and second, to assist in the planning and resourcing of the next response. In West Virginia, approximately 70 percent of pertussis cases over the last five years involved vaccinated individuals. In New York, over 30 percent of measles cases were in vaccinated people, and another 30 percent had unknown vaccination status. How many asymptomatic vaccinated carriers are spreading these diseases without ever showing symptoms? Nobody is tracking it.

The latest booster dose is booster #7, and according to Ontario Public Health's most recent September 10, 2023, Vaccine Uptake Surveillance Report, only 5,727 booster #7 shots have been administered. When you add up all the booster doses from #3 through to #7, there have indeed been just over 3.6 million booster doses administered like Moore claimed. However, it's important to note that this count spans two years, from the fall of 2021 to the present. It's also important to acknowledge that this doesn't necessarily mean 3.5 million individuals received the shot; it represents the total number of doses administered, and it's reasonable to assume that a significant number of the same individuals have received multiple shots. Ontario Public Health’s latest report also reveals that as of September 10, 2023, only “4.1% of individuals 5 years of age and older who completed their primary series have received any booster dose in the previous 6 months.” Moore appears to be manipulating both statistics and language in an attempt to convey the idea of increased COVID-19 vaccine booster uptake among Ontarians.
