Try and pay minimum wage when ther is taco truck right next to your restaurant. You have to pay comp, general liability, pay city taxes, state taxes, have handouts cap access, health department inspections and try and make a profit. Fuck Becerra, he is a crook and a power hungry POS. Migrants add 30 percent to housing rental inflation.

Perhaps it’s time to point out that the legal minimum wage is for legal workers. Illegals won’t be making a dime more/hr. They will still be paid slave wages and owe most of it to their employer/landlords for substandard housing. Minimum wage laws don’t apply.

That’s exactly what’s happening to my business. Union labor rates going up and we have to absorb the losses on ongoing contracts. I so sick of it. We grind 15 hrs a day and struggling to pay our own mortgage so wr can meet the ridiculous hourly rates and burdens of the state!!

Massachusetts 1986 Min wage was 5$ an hour Fresh out of college as a draftsman making $10 an hour. Fourty years later making $33.25 an hour. Due the math. Raising min wage gets you .25% increase over 40 years. Viva la Blue Bubble.

On April 1st, California raised the minimum wages for fast food workers to $20/hour. That same day, Fosters Freeze went out of business and laid off all 20 employees.
