New (beta) T3 Code feature: "Hide threads while working" I have been thinking about adding this to T3 Code for awhile now. Don't like "running work" taking space in my brain. Not sure how I feel just yet but good vibes so far. Try it and lmk how you feel!

Biggest hesitation w/ this change is that I've put SO much effort into minimizing how often things shift around and move in T3 Code. Really wanted to build a sense of spatial awareness into the product. This takes away some of that, but it trades it for less "random stuff distracting you". Not sure if this will stick but I'm so curious how others feel about it

I'd like to group threads by project somehow if possible. (They are different repositories) I was feeling an inability to keep several threads which I'm working on in parallel towards a single goal together and it was bothering me.

I'm really tired of thinking about threads at a project/repo level. I agree we need better conceptual grouping though. We're definitely trying to figure this out but it will take some time to get right

Yes, and even better would be to have folders for tasks groups. Having 30-40 open and running can be challenging. Hiding is good starting point!

Tried it out on the nightly . I see the appeal but i turned it off for now. I’m good with the reduced visibility of it on the main thread. But a cool feature to have in case I’m juggling a lot of threads in the future. Currently i do 2-3 concurrent. Might revisit in the future

I thought exactly about this kind of feature, will try it! Because yeah sometimes it’s tough to just ignore working threads even though that’s the most productive boost you can get

hiding running threads sounds useful if theres still a clear place to see what needs attention. less visual noise shouldnt hide a blocked task

Looks great! One other annoying thing is that draft threads are highlighted more prominently than the currently selected thread, which can make it feel like I’m typing in the wrong one.

It's a good pattern. You should direct user attention to where it's needed, threads that are working don't require attention. Both ChatGPT and CC do this in 'inbox' view.

Interesting idea, this is like focused-writing mode. Can see this being useful for keeping the overwhelm at bay.
