#Hurricaneerin is hungry. It will feast on hot water up to 88 degrees. After using this heat to power its engine, it will dissipate said heat. Leaving a cool ocean wake in its path, ~10 degrees lower than it found it. The water cools not just due to heat absorption, but also overturning /upwelling, wind and rain.

🚨The energy crisis triggered by the Persian Gulf conflict is accelerating the shift to a multipolar world. 🇷🇺🇨🇳Russia and China are building a parallel energy system less dependent on Western finance, shipping, and payments. The project is powered by offshore wind and built for AI workloads, big data, and large-scale computing. Why it matters? AI is creating massive demand for electricity, cooling, and infrastructure. If underwater data centers prove reliable, they could become a new way to scale AI while using less energy. But the challenge is huge: corrosion, maintenance, sea conditions, and long-term reliability still need to be proven.

The core technology combines multiple fiber lasers into a single high-power laser source, while enabling stable airborne targeting and precise engagement. Netherlands: Massive wind turbine crashes to the ground as a result of, you guessed it... the wind. 🤡 Wind turbines: Completely useless when the wind isn't blowing, and apparently even more useless when the wind is blowing. And to think we're closing down all our coal mines and power plants—which provided cheap and abundant energy—and replacing them with these expensive, inefficient and intermittent monstrosities, while China and India build coal plants like there's no tomorrow.

Normally, I stick to US Weather, but this will be a very impactful Storm for our European Brotheren so I thought it was worth covering. Heads up my European Brotheren

Although the energy system is operating at maximum capacity, the attacks have drastically reduced electricity supply. In Kyiv, residents have electricity for just 1.5 to 2 hours a day. Ukraine's energy workers need the help of our allies to strengthen air defences and send emergency energy equipment and mobile generators. #StandWithUkraine
