Yes, they are popping up like mushrooms lately. Why? All pieces of the puzzle to build fully autonomous humanoid robots are available right now and it is becoming easier each day. We will soon see a Cambrian explosion of robots of every kind.

The Chinese are unbelievable. I read a post on Instagram that they’ve almost deployed 4 million robots in their factories.

The more competition, the faster they progress and the better they get.

China's going to try to solve its population problem by stocking their factories with robot workers. But robots don't 'consume' consumer products, so their domestic demand will still crash and only exports will be left.

China needs humanoid robots and other advanced robots anyway. - To sustain their manufacturing supremacy - To take care of the aging population

China is the only real US competitor. If China had the same freedom as the US and focus on prosperity instead of pointless territorial gains the world would change in a heart beat for the better.

Hey, flying penguins were discovered by the BBC in April, 2008:

all of these demos are the same. they walk around a bit, maby doing some basic actions that could have been pre programmed. robotics are advancing, but I don't see any embodied intelligence here

This one isn't that impressive.

They’rrrrre commmmming. China. I hope Optimus is far advanced and they aren’t telling anyone. 😁

nice, perfect height tbvh
