I randomly recorded him casually talking and he decided to prepare the squad he felt like he reached the end of the road on earth . But in that moment 24 January 2024 he felt like he was really going . Family , friends and associates who had time to see him got the opportunity to say goodbye to him while he was speaking and laughing like his usual self . His last Saturday on this earth , 27 January 2024 he asked for beef stew and appletizer for supper . And got the meal he desired . He tried to make sure everyone around him felt special in someway . I last saw him alive on a Sunday , 28 January 2024 . 29 January 2024 he was alive for sometime when the sun was out in the AM’s , Monday morning normal working day . Until he randomly suffered a cardiac arrest . Got called by the hospital they were trying to resuscitate him while I was on my way first thing that morning . When I arrived it was truly the end of my goat , my king , my dad Tshifhatuwo Tshipileli Tshivhase . 12 April 1964-29 January 2024 .

Today at Uhuru Park, I met this man sitting all by himself, deep in thought. I approached him and we talked. He shared that life has really been tough he has been searching for a job for a long time without success. Two months ago, his house was locked, and since then, he has been sleeping on the streets. I wanted to help him pay the two months’ rent, but all he asked for was transport money to go back home to the village, where he at least has a place to stay and regroup. I listened and supported him with the fare so he can go home, plan afresh, and hopefully return to Nairobi or anywhere once an opportunity opens up. He is a chef and ready to work. Last night in Kawangware, I met this man whom I initially thought was a security guard. After speaking with him, I later came to learn that he is a Nigerian national currently living on the streets. Whenever I meet someone living on the streets, I always take time to engage with them, understand their story, and learn how they ended up there. My goal is always to see how best I can help them rebuild their lives. During our conversation, he shared that he came to Kenya after receiving a promise of sponsorship from his cousin to continue his education here. However, after only two weeks in the country, his cousin who had promised to support him left for the United States without enrolling him in school, leaving him stranded in Kenya. As we continued talking, he explained how he struggled to survive and eventually ended up living on the streets. He has now been on the streets for about two years. In one of the videos I recorded, a lady reached out to me and said she recognized him. According to her, they once lived in the same apartment building. She narrated how the man had been in a relationship with a lady who allegedly took everything he owned. This incident deeply affected him, pushing him into depression and eventually to the streets. The man also shared that at one point he worked in Dubai, where he used to send money back home to support his parents in Nigeria. However, when he later returned home, he claims he discovered that he had been deceived by the very people he trusted. He gave me his parents’ contact, although we were not able to fully hear their side of the story. Currently, his travel documents have expired, and he expressed that his biggest wish is to renew them so that he can return home to Nigeria and start life again. I offered to use my platform to help fundraise for the renewal of his documents, as he personally requested. He also asked if I could help him secure any form of work so that he could at least sustain himself as he waits to regularize his documents. However, after spending time with him and assessing his situation, it became clear to me that he urgently needs mental health support, as he appears to be struggling with depression. I therefore decided that the following morning I would take him to a private rehabilitation center where professionals could assess him and offer the help he needs. After we agreed on this plan, I took him to a hotel where he could spend the night safely. I paid for his room and food, intending to pick him up the following morning and take him for rehabilitation. Unfortunately, later in the morning I received a call from the hotel attendant informing me that although the man had slept well, he left the guest house very early in a hurry. Later reports indicated that he had been seen back on the streets. Since then, efforts to locate and rescue him have not been successful. I am informed that he rarely accepts help from people, which makes the situation even more challenging. If anyone happens to see or locate him, please kindly contact me through +254707946783 so that we can assist him, take him for rehabilitation, and help facilitate his return to his home country. I am also appealing to his fellow Nigerians living in Kenya, those back in Nigeria, and well-wishers both in Kenya and abroad come through for him and support the effort to give this man a second chance in life. I just wanted to take a minute to show my respects for the passing of Mike Casello. I was 2 grades behind him at Worcester South High School, and he never lost his passion for sports. He started his own brand where he basically acted as a citizen sports journalist and documented high school sports around Worcester County for the last few years, which meant a lot to the kids he covered. What I will always remember most about him is that when I was in jail he offered to go to my son's first basketball games and film them, since I had to miss them. It was painful knowing these were going on Saturday mornings and I couldn't be there for him. I must've watched this video 100 times in jail, and will forever be grateful to Mike for sharing that with me.

This mom’s cat, Mitts, never came home, and she was up all night worried sick. This morning, her husband finally found him meowing in their shed , it turns out she had accidentally locked him inside for 12 whole hours without realizing it! The poor guy had lost his tracker a few days earlier, so they had been waiting on a new one. Needless to say, he got lots of cuddles once he was rescued. I did the same thing once when I lost my precious cat for an hour. I was a complete mess. When I finally found her, I gave her so much love. 🥰🤗❤️😻😻🐈

A UPS driver’s excitement over his first paycheck could hardly be contained. Yoel Diaz said he was so excited because he could barely fill his refrigerator before immigrating from Cuba. Now, he lives in Phoenix, Arizona, and his fridge is full. "This is my first hourly paycheck that I feel every hour counted," he said in the video. "That every hour of work has importance in my life and that I know I can work hard for something. I can't compare that emotion with anything. Because I never had that in my country." He stated, he's "grateful" to be in the United States. "When you have this for the first time, your head explodes and say, 'Wow, it's beautiful,'" he said. Before he came to the U.S. in 2021, Diaz was a computer science teacher in Cuba, earning $12 a month. He lamented how far ahead the U.S. was in the field. Diaz met his wife, who is Cuban American, when they were young and still living in Cuba. She'd often tell him about the realities outside of Cuba, which she believed was held back by its Communist party. They eventually married and were faced with a decision: stay or go to the U.S. Diaz said he told his wife: "We want a future, we want a family... wherever you go I go." He came to America on a K-1 visa, and when he received his work permit, he applied for a job at UPS. "I never had this much money in my hands from my effort, from my sweat, and it hurts that millions in my country and other countries can't have that," he said. I first met Saud Abdulhamid on my very first trip to Riyadh. Saudi Arabia. I had gone there to see Odion Ighalo, back when he was still playing for Al Hilal. That day, I was standing outside the training ground, just waiting, taking everything in. Then suddenly, a beautiful white G-Wagon pulled up. The windows were fully tinted, so you couldn’t see who was inside. For a moment, I was convinced it had to be Ighalo. As the window rolled down, I got ready to greet him—only to be met by Saud, flashing his trademark smile. He waved at me, and I waved back, even though, truthfully, I had no idea who he was at the time. Not long after, Ighalo arrived, and we headed into the training ground. That’s when I properly met Saud, along with his brother. We had a brief chat before training started, and that was the beginning. Our paths crossed again when Saudi Arabia played Nigeria in a friendly match in Portugal. After the game, in the middle of the crowd, I heard someone shout, “Ighalo!”—it was Saud. From there, we stayed connected, following each other online, keeping in touch in our own way. Then came another reunion, this time in Lens, inside his small but tastefully furnished apartment in the heart of the city. Back then, things were still uncertain for him. He wasn’t playing regularly, but I remember him telling me clearly that he wanted to stay in Europe, stay with Lens, and fight for his place. There was a quiet determination about him. I could feel it. And today, looking at his journey, that belief has paid off. He has grown into an important player for the club, playing his part in helping them secure a Champions League spot. AJ Styles vs Gunther was an amazing wrestling bout between two in ring veterans who tried everything in their power to outsmart each other. Styles started the match by kicking Gunther's leg to set up for Calf Crusher. He had two reasons for that. First, to get revenge for what his opponent did to John Cena. Second, more important - it's impossible for him to hit Styles Clash on Gunther so he needed a different way to beat him. First few minutes were a masterclass from The Phenomenal One but with Gunther it's always the same story - one chop can change everything. And that's exactly what happened, Styles was sent to the floor by a brutal strike. The Ring General took the control of the match and was beating up AJ. But Styles was keep trying to get back into the fight. He was able to hit his classic strike combo but Gunther didn't go down and answered with Lariat. AJ's only chance in this match was to target already injured left leg of his rival. And that's what he did, Styles found the opening, hit Low Dropkick and followed it with series of Dragon Screws. After that he made a mistake by attempting to lift Gunther on his shoulders but quickly fixed it and connected with Pele Kick. And now Styles locked in Calf Crusher for the first time. Gunther got to the ropes but damage was done. The Austrian started looking for Sleeper Hold to end it quickly but AJ was perfectly prepared for it and reversed it multiple times. The Phenomenal One was truly fantastic in this match. The moment where he had a chance to hit 450 Splash but instead went for 360 Leg Drop on Gunther's injured limb was absolutely brilliant. But The Ring General was ready to capitalize on every, even tiny mistake. Just like Styles going for Pele Kick for the second time. Gunther avoided it, hit Lariat and Powerbomb combo but pain in his leg didn't allow him to get a proper cover and AJ was able to kick out. Styles was truly relentless and started putting his opponent in Calf Crusher over and over again. Reverse after reverse, submission after submission. Gunther couldn't escape it. Felt like a tap out is inevitable. But it's The Ring General. You can wrestle a perfect match but Gunther always gonna come up with something to outsmart you. He was in desperate mode so he decided to tap out on AJ's leg, in that way referee couldn't see it. Styles thought that he won, started arguing and that distraction allowed Gunther to hit Low Blow & Powerbomb for the win. Absolute masterclass in storytelling and a tremendous performances from both wrestlers. I loved every second of it.

The police secured him a place at the local night shelter, but when he arrived, his place had been given to another homeless person 💔 Violently attacked with half his nose missing, in a very vulnerable state with addiction problems, he's back sleeping rough, scared, and wondering if he's going to be attacked again I found him again today in the back of a flat doorway with nothing but a dirty ripped sleeping bag. Again, there was no place available at the night shelter Why is he not a priority? I did all I could with what we had available from previous appeals, he has a new sleeping bag, fresh clothes, an emergency shelter tent, a panic alarm, and he's been fed The other person in the video has taken him in for the night, so we know he's safe, at least for now Why has he not been kept in the hospital? Surely he needs plastic surgery? Why is he not a priority with the emergency housing team? His mom wasn’t having it. He had a small pile of hoodie’s for $1000 because he feels like he needs to be styling but he forgets he’s not the one footing the bill. Should she have paid for it? I think she was being nice by saying he could have one $300 hoodie. No way in the world would my parents have bought these for me either but then again I knew better than to ask for anything like this. My oldest now for whatever reason won’t ask for anything that he feels is expensive. I just buy it for him. Maybe it’s a sign of maturity for him but I don’t want him not to ask me for anything he needs because of price. My mom had a way of always telling me she had no money even when it was necessities. She forced us kids to always go without and trained us not to even ask and now as an adult I resent her for it. There were times I dreaded walking to school when it rained because I knew my shoes with holes would get my feet wet or when I was cold in the winter because I didn’t have a good coat. But as for this kid, he needs to grow up, his mom is doing the best as she can, I think he’s just being spoiled and she’s right. I won’t spend money on anything I don’t see value in. Those hoodies look generic like someone made them in a basement somewhere.

Sad day in Seattle's #CentralDistrict - In honor of Jackson's Catfish Corner's final day in business, we take a look back at the grand opening of the Jackson Street location on Juneteenth 2021 After 40 years, Jackson's Catfish Corner is closing its doors today. Terrell Jackson, who took over the business from his grandparents, shared that "it's time for me to do something different. I need a new high." Jackson cited shifting demographics in Seattle's Central District for a drop in foot traffic and the upcoming minimum wage hike in the City of Seattle as key factors. He also mentioned that he is seeking new challenges in different markets, so rest assured he still has catfish in his veins.
