NEW: Florida teacher arrested after police found a mixture of fentanyl and cocaine in his backpack. 44-year-old Christopher D. Toukonen of Lely High School was arrested after school administrators were told that he was allegedly using drugs in his classroom. Toukonen has been booked into jail on felony charges. "Upon learning of the arrest, Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) immediately removed the employee from the classroom and initiated the termination process," Lely High School principal Jen Bledsoe said. "The matter is currently under criminal investigation, and the District is cooperating fully with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office."

On April 28th, at 10:25 p.m., Jeffco deputies stopped a black Ford Explorer for speeding near I-70 and Harlan St. In addition to the stop, deputies conducted a narcotics investigation, asking for a K9 team to assist. K9 Anton confirmed their suspicion when he gave a positive alert for the odor of narcotics on the SUV’s rear hatch. (Good boy!) In total, 4.9 kilograms of fentanyl was found in the vehicle and seized. This equates to approximately 50,000 M30 pills at a street value of $1,000,000 dollars! James Yokeley Jr. was charged with child abuse, possession of a controlled substance, and contaminating food with a controlled substance.
