Not exaaaactly sure how far 500 feet is? Now we’ll let you know to turn right at the closest landmark, like the coffee shop coming up at the corner ➡️☕ Rolling out now on Android and iOS in the US.

That's awesome, Google Maps! As someone battling daily traffic chaos, Gemini scouting a veg spot with parking in under 2 mins? Total lifesaver for impromptu lunch runs. 🚗📷

Sounds good… though you didn’t do well removing the follow button 🤦🏻‍♂️

What about integration with Android Auto

Wow! Look cool 😎. Wait to try it in #Cambodia.

This is a good one

So, I want to get as early as possible to place, maps or waze?

when can we see the app with new，icon

I just want basic navigation to work again. This is a safety issue. I found a third party app that is a workaround, but it won't launch with a voice command. I don't want to buy an iPhone.

Can we tell it to fix all the map errors? Upstate NY is horrible, wrong speed limits, traffic alerts etc. pretty useless

@Scobleizer Awesome ✨

O, this is cool 👍

please remove the 5 review max limit from the places api

That is really awesome and very detailed. But on video it’s shows very smooth animations, Big ASK Google to bring that level of smoothness animations in Google Maps especially on iOS / CarPlay platform. @Google

In car play too ? Or only iOS app …

👏🏼 Finally something for everyone Great news !

Good feature

this is essentially a traveling agent

This Gemini integration is a game-changer for navigation! Being able to ask for restaurants with specific criteria or parking details while navigating will make road trips so much smoother. Can't wait for the rollout! 🗺️🚀

i like how community adds mobile speed cameras, it sure helps slow the traffic down 😂

What about in Canada and on Apple CarPlay?

Had it for like 5 min on my iPhone 15 Max but now it’s gone 😳 Quick pull by @google 😂. They must have made mistake. Strange that my Pixel 10 Pro still nothing.

On the beta version 25.45.02.826664481?

I love this idea. Often I need to do this and it was always frustrating.

This new Gemini feature significantly enhances Google Maps navigation with conversational, hands-free assistance for planning stops and finding details.

Exciting update! Gemini will certainly make navigating with Google Maps even easier. Can't wait!
